I haven't gotten tickets yet, but with teens and pre-teens, I'm sure we'll be going sometime while it's showing.

Did you say drive in?? Boy how I miss those. Ours got taken down by a tornado about 5 years ago.The owners were elderly and decided not to rebuild.there were alot of sad people in town!

We're excited, but we won't go opening weekend either. When there are too many people around, I get frustrated by the distractions. One time, we actually had a lady sit a few seats down from us who could not leave her cell phone alone. Every five minutes or so, she would flip it open, and it had some light on it that would shine in our faces. Then, she'd flip it shut with a snap. I was ready to grab that thing and throw it across the theater!
Another time, a man sat right next to us who coughed the whole darn time. I was so frustrated I could scream! Would've moved, but it was a crowded theater.
We have a movie theater here that shows first-run movies for $2.25 a ticket. In a couple of weeks, my son and I will head to this theater in the middle of the week, and watch the movie with only a handfull of people around. :D

My husband and I thought the movie was good. But we aren't sure how many young kids will understand some of the things that are going on in the movie.

We finally saw the movie today. I did like it, but it's just so hard for a movie to do a book justice. I was disappointed by some of the stuff they left out, even though I do understand they can't fit everything in. I think it may be confusing for people who have not read the books.
