I used Avon Skin So Soft deodorant for a couple years and I recently became dissatisfied.

I am now using Secret Clinical Strength. I can honestly tell a difference and I think it lasts all day. I do not like the price though.:(

What kind of deodorant do you use? Do you think there is a difference between the regular stuff and the clinical?

I'm no help Brandy. I use whatever is free or close to it:D I'm lucky that just about anything works for me. Right now I'm using Sure invisible solid.

I have used regular Secret for years and years and I have to say this is the last time I buy it, something about it changed and it doesn't work like it use to.
I have 1 sample of the Secret Clinical Strength that I am going to try next.

I can only use Dove! I am alergic to everything else! I love it though, it lasts all day and I especially like the new Dove with the spray scents to match, they smell so great!

I was a regular secret fan until I got my first sample of the clinical strength!! I agree with you brandy I don't like the price but...I really like the product! So far I've been lucky and had a coupon for like $2 off which helps. Another one I've had good luck with is mitchum.I used the one that came in a pod and you applied it with your fingers.Later they chaged to roll on and stick but it didn't seem to be as good. I think they still make it but its kinda hard to find.

Carol I think your right the last few secrets I've bought didn't seem to work well. They had a new scent something tropical. It smelled so good but didn't seem effective.I tried the clinical strength and it was great. Its probably a plan make the reg. less effective and everyone will start spending more on the there higher $$ item.

I another fan of the Dove Clear. I hated the original Dove, but as soon as the Ultimate Clear came out I was hooked.

My mom used to use Secret, but she also mentioned that they did something to it, and she didn't like it anymore.

Degree for Women or Dove... I switch them up ever so often. Deoderant is alot like shampoo and conditioner for me. After a while of using one kind, my body grows immune to it or something, lol. So I end up switching for a while :p

I feel the same way about it , my shampoo has to be changed every 2 months or so.

Haven't tried any of the clinical strength deodorants yet. Tried about every other brand out there otherwise, including three trials--Sure, Secret, Dove, Dry Idea, Ban, Degree, Old Spice, Arm and Hammer, Yves Rocher, Avon, Arrid, Speed Stick, and you name it. I just have to give up and bring them with me, so I can reapply them every few hours. One that I tried that seems to work much better than the others though, is Lady Mitchum--it can actually keep up with me through the whole day/night many times.

Jude, I have an extra Secret Clinical Strength that I'll send to you when I finally send the other stuff. I'm setting it aside now;)

Your body does that. I saw on a show that you are supposed to switch ever 3 months like your toothbrush. I just switch between 2 or 3 brands. I like the new Dove ones, they smell really good. Also Degree is good for me also. I can't use the gel kind though. I feel like I have to put the hair dryer to it cause I feel gross after.

Yep, I bought it when it first came out but then they jacked the price up to 6.99-7.99, and I am NOT paying that for it. Jenn uses only it and swears by it, so I guess everyone is different. As long as I dont stink I'm ok!:p

This might sound funny to some of you but I have a friend that refuses to use deodorant. She uses mineral salt or salt crystals under her arm pits.. I wish I could do that but if I didn't use deodorant I would't have any friends left!

My Mom dosen't wear any. And if she does it's once a week and it's a small "wipe" across the pit. She has had the same stick of deodorant for a year!

My Mom and friend say that the aluminum in deodorant causes cancer...

Well, I use whatever is on sale or If I get something in the mail. Nothing seems to work for me except clinical strength. I have over productive sweat glands or something of that nature. I have a script from the doctor. I forgot the name of the stuff but I have used it and it worked in the past. Also certain dri has worked for me in the past. I just don't like the smells of the script one and certain dri and I don't have the money to buy clinical strength which has worked wonders for me. Especially when I was in Mexico!! :o

My aunt does not wear deoderant either, she uses baby powder under her arms. She also mentioned the cancer thing, I never knew nothing about it until she told me!

I usually use a deodorant stone (http://www.deodorantstones.com/) (it even works to keep stinky feet from happening)(before anyone asks, I use a separate one on the feet...), sometimes I use the Dove green tea. I have very sensitive, highly reactive skin so I have to be careful. I used to use the Secret Platinum unscented, but unscented anything is getting hard to find! The deo. stone has no scent, and the Dove just smells clean & doesn't clash with musk or nag champa oils I use as personal scents.
