So last night I switched my cell phone service. I have had Sprint for about 3-4 years and my husband has had it for 6 years and neither of us have ever had a problem, until now. We recently upgraded our plan. We were SUPPOSE to get the "everything" plan, which was unlimited EVERYTHING (minutes, text, data usuage, web) and it was around $130 for 2 lines plus tax. We called in, changed the plan over the phone, but our last statement NEVER showed the change and we were charged nearly $500!!!! We refused to pay the full amount due until they changed it or gave us an explination as to why our plan was never changed. The refused.... So we decided to switch to at&t. Last night we went and got our phones. My husband and I both got Palm Centro's. We have had Katana's for the last 2 years and we have LOVED THEM. But we were looking for something a little better.... There are several things I like about the Palm (the size and the chat style texting, microsoft word!!!!) but there are other things I don't like.....
They also have a Blackberry pearl that I like.
Anyone have either one of these phones? Pros and cons of each?
Since at&t's everything plan is nearly $170 we decide to just do a regular plan with unlimited text... but I would still use some of the other things on the palm, like the word and excel.

I have Sprint right now, but next week my b/f and I are switching to Verizon for the better phone selection, cheaper plans, better service, etc. Right now I have a Palm Pilot Treo phone and I really like it! But I'm ready for something new. But if you are organized and will use the planner and gadgets that come with it, then the Palm is for you :)

Watch your credit card so they don't charge you an early withdrawl charge. I call that extremely bad customer service from Sprint. We have Verizon and love it, never a problem which can happen when you live in the mountains. My son was text messaging, got a bill for hundreds, called them and they said no problem just switch over to the unlimited text messaging and they dropped the bill!! that is good customer service. Hope your happy with your new plan, goodluck~

I have the Blackberry Curve. Personally, I think it has wayyy too much stuff on it. I love how I can plan all the kids appointments and stuff but it has way to many programs for Instant messaging! I have 6!! Why would anybody need 6?? Mine has yahoo messaging, AOL, Windows live, google talk, ICQ, and blackberry messenger. There is only one game that comes with the phone which is blockbreaker,(boring if you ask me) the rest you have to download and pay for them of the internet. It has a full keypad so it's easy to text and to write e-mails. I think it's a little to much for me though.:)

i really wanted a phone for web capabilities, but its WAY too high with at&t. The palm centro is not too bad. I was just informed by a friend who works at radioshack that they are getting the aqua ones in tomorrow!!!! I am going to trade the black one in for an aqua!!!! She had the blackberry pearl before and the toggle button quite working after a month.... so she got the centro and LOVES it. I may just keep it, it will take a few weeks for me to get use to it though. lol

I have a Blackberry Pearl that I use just for work stuff. I love it! It is kinda small for my huge hands though, but other than that no complaints!:)

I debated for two weeks on whether to get the LG Dare or the new Blackberry Storm. I finally decided to go with the LG Dare. It has a few more features than the new Blackberry. I've had the LG Chocolate Mint phone for 2 years and love it. My carrier is Verizon, never had a problem with them, their phones, or billing issues. My phone should be here on Monday!:D

And Dare..we still need more towers in the mountains but I am pleased with verizon and my phone. And I have gone thru about 6 phones and 3 carriers.

I want the Dare, but my contract doesn't change until Feb. For some reason when Seth bought my phone for me for V-day 2 years ago (he paid full price for my phone) when I got it activated they resigned my contract even though he paid full price for it:mad:
