I just talked to my old roommate from Hawaii and one of his really close friends died Saturday. He was drinking and driving, lost control, and hit a tree. My friend is rather upset. I know that you shouldn't drink and drive but it is always hard to help a friend when this happens. I don't really know what to say besides he is in a better place and that sometimes it takes a life to open people's eyes and save another life. I always heard him talk about Phil, but had never met him. Alot of my friends seem to be losing their loved ones and I know they are all having a hard time. I have thankfully never lost anyone that was really close to me. If you all could just please pray for him and the family of Phil. I know it is hard losing someone in that way.
Update on my other friend- They still have not found the killer. The father has put out a $10,000 reward for the person that did it so they are getting alot of leads. Hopefully someone comes in with the right lead and they find the guy. My friend is doing a bit better and isn't as depressed. Her boyfriend took her to the Chattanooga Aquarium to get her out since she was beginning to get really depressed. She is much better and back to work. Once they find who did it, I think she will be much better.
Thanks for all of your prayers. I am very thankful to have so many people to keep my friends in their prayers and thoughts. I know that one is very powerful, but a dozen or more, is even better!
