All I can say is that my kids loved it!! Grandma took them to the movies and she was telling me about it and she never mentioned once about "obese" people or it being offensive in any way. I don't know because I never saw the movie.

Hubby And I Took The Kids To See It. They Enjoyed It. I Didn't Think Anything About It Until That Night When My Sister In Law Said Something About The Messages Hidden In The Movie And That Was One Of The Issues She Said. I Didn't Notice Until She Said Something. My Kids Haven't Said Anything About It Though.

I agree with what you said. Those newscasters said some rude things but I don't think the movie was offensive at all. I think people should find something better to complain about. JMO.
