I'm going to make this as short as possible!

DH had a job interview in PA (we're in MD), and they called him in for a second interview that he had last Friday. He found out yesterday that he got the job, and the offer is something we can accept. This move would put us 35 miles from our parents (we're currently over 200 miles), and we could be in a house that we both love.

The problem is we need to sell our house in MD. We've only been here 19 months, and while the market is horrible, we do in a fairly desirable area of Baltimore. We are hoping to meet with an auctioneer this week to discuss that option. And our only other option is to find an investor that would be interested in it.

Please pray that things work out and we are able to move. As much as I LOVE living in Baltimore, I want to be closer to family and friends. We're currently TTC our first baby, and this would be wonderful to have our parents so close.

Thank you ladies so much! I truly believe in the power of prayer!

Is there anyway you can hang onto that house for a few more months? after 2 years you will not owe any taxes on the money you make. If that is not feasable have you tried a realtor? You may be able to sell fast if the price is right. I wish you both the very best, prayers for you and your family! Everything will work out, it may take some time but it will!! Goodluck.

I hope you all the luck I can give! My parents are auctioning their house this weekend, but not for sure selling. I would maybe talk to a real estate agent first if houses in your area are selling ok. Try it for a month or so and then maybe try an auction. I do suggest that if you do the auction do like my parents, don't have an open house before hand. It makes the people that come have to decide that day if they want to vote and doesn't give them a week or so to figure out all the negatives and things they don't like about the house. But good luck! I will pray for you. Congrats on the good news though!!

Good luck Cindy. Sending prayers your way.

Is there anyway you can rent out the house you are currently living in and sell it when the market comes back up?

Hugs,
Mae

Thank you ALL so much ladies-I really appreciate it!!

We've had some ups and downs the last few days. We were very concerned that we would not get enough to money to sell our current house. Our only option was to go through the auction. I was able to find TWO investors that are willing to look at the house. The huge bonus of investors is, they will buy the house outright!

We are already pre-approved for our next house in PA. Our mortgage would be less, and our house would be 10 times more than our current home.

I have to say that after many sleepless nights and horrible migraines the past three days, things are looking up. I am doing every single thing in my power to sell this house, and I feel like things are going to work out and God is watching over us.

Cindy, sounds like things are going along nicely. I hope you get a good offer from one of the investors.

Sorry to hear you have had a migraine though, and hope you are sleeping better.

Hugs,
Mae
