I volunteer for animal rescue and we have a foster dog in our care that is very sick. The disease she has only about 50% live. Our local vets are...well...... they dont know much about the disease. We were told to look into natural remedies. When we put her on the medicine that the vet subscribed she didn't change much. She still wouldn't eat, get up and the other symptons didn't get any better. We read into using natural remedies. We thought we would give it a try. After 2 weeks of feeding her different types of homeade broths, vitamins and around the clock care she now plays, gets up and wags her tail :). I would like to say this has worked. The vets say that she could still get worse.... but I remind you they don't know much about the disease. The book that we have has different recipes in it and is all about natural health care for dogs. Its a very good find. Anyway, some of the things we are using are veggis (of course) vitamins, organic baby food, organic soups and organic oatmeals. If anyone knows of any Organic coupon sites that would be great. (because of course feeding a dog better than you eat is expensive). I have looked around on this forumn and did a search but found one thing. I tried signing up for a organic gerber coupon on their website...but it says I have already registered for that :( Anyway, any help would be GREAT!
