Logan's Run Remake

i am curious what everyone thinks about the upcoming Logan's Run movie (due out in 2010)?
i am both nervous and excited...i am afraid that the present Hollywood is going to completely ruin a classic movie masterpiece...again...i like the idea of remaking movies such as this, however, they just do not seem to be executed well for some reason...
any thoughts?

I know what you mean. It seems like they either remake it mostly the same and it sucks, or it's too different and it sucks or it's different, but good and should be called something else! I hadn't heard they were doing Logan's run. I don't know if they can do anything new tho that would equal Farrah Fawcett getting lasered to death tho! I think they should remake Soilent Green or Night of the Lepus!!

If you watch Logan's Run now, it's kinda cheesy. I think a remake will be great!

i just read a minute ago that they're remaking The Thing also...one word: kurt russell..drool...if he ain't in it i ain't watchin it! LOL
