:D Brings back memories of catching crawdads in the "crick" when I was a kid. This was in Kentucky, which some consider the midwest.

I used to catch these all the time at my dad's hanger in the creek. We would spend hours catching them. Now I don't know if I would ever try and catch them anymore. I used to love it though!

Too cute! Haha ... you brought back a memory for me. WHen I was young, my mother used to take her children and my step-dad's little brother (Mark) to Clearwater, Fla. for a vacation. We all went to eat at a Red Lobster. Well, you know how they have those tanks full of lobsters when you first go into a Red Lobster? Haha ... Mark (who was about 4 at this time) hollered at the top of his lungs "A crawdad Lil LaVerne! Look! A crawdad!!!" My mother turned every shade of red possible.
