Well my dad has a Fly-In at his airport thing on Saturday so I think we are going there with my boyfriend's parents. I already got his present though. He is getting a Wii from all of us, and I got him a game and then covers for the controllers. Also I got him 3 bags of Wine-a-rita mix. He loves them after I gave him some of mine for Memorial Day!! He will be a happy camper!!:D

I think the boys are planning to go fishing with dh and they made him some cute things at school. As for me I'm not quite sure how to handle Fathers day this year. I guess I will just remember him and maybe scratch of some lottery tickets for him. Then keep my self busy.

Ditto!!!

My real dad just bought a new house, so we are helping him move on Saturday. He wants to redo the kitchen so his gift is a Home Depot gift card. My step dad....I am still working on! We will spend the day at the lake with my FIL on Sunday, we got him some new stuff for the boat.:)

You could always get him gas for his boat.

Happy Father's day to all of you who are father's or blessed to still have your father.

Not sure what we will do. It's our oldest daughter's 30th b-day on Father's day.

Hugs,
Mae

I have no clue what the girls are getting for their daddy...we are going to my MIL for a cook out. I will just send my dad and step dad a card and call them. I make my husband get his dad something and it is so hard for him!! I will get his mom a gift, but I have no idea what to get his dad!!! Fathers day is hard for me!!! (no real father figure growing up)

Father's day turned out great at both Father's! Saturday was amazing as my parents and my boyfriend's parents finally got to spend some time together and they loved it! My dad has an airplane hanger, and he flys ultralights and trikes, well he took my boyfriend's parents for a ride, and they LOVED IT!!! They are actually thinking of taking lessons with my dad! Not the mention they jumped on the bungee trampoline and had a blast! So I think that our parents will be getting along rather well now that everything in the family has settled down!! Even Caleb is going to come take some rides this weekend, and they are going to come out and shoot their guns in the back corner of the field! I will just lay in the pool and let them enjoy! This weekend turned out PERFECT and I could not be happier!:D Dad was super excited for his wine-a-ritas (he thought I ordered some for myself and none for him!) and LOVED his Wii!!!

How did everyone else's Father's Day go? Did he like his present?

Gave hubby his gifts two weeks and one week early, as he wanted to spend the holiday weekend with his family. I would say he likes what we gave him--he's been using a couple of the items daily for the past week!

Child and I went to my folks. Dad loved his stuff. Brother hard to tell--if I don't see it pop up on Ebay, or if it isn't horsetraded for something else with one of his buddies, it means it passed muster.

Must remember to bug hubby again about his dad's gravesite. I don't know where it is, and I think we should take flowers out there from time to time. His family is not into that, but my family always has made trips out to the cemeteries to tidy up graves, lay flowers a couple of times a year, and such.

We went to the lake with Hubby's parents for the first part of the morning. It was a beautiful day. We got him some things for his boat, that will really come in handy for all of us!;)

Rode up to see my grandparents and had a cook out with the family. It's always great to see aunts, uncles, and cousins you dont get to see much! Got grandpa some stuff for the camper!

The last part of the afternoon was spent with my other grandparents. We had smoked bbq and turkey. Played ball with my nephew, and worked off all that food I ate! :p

Will be spending father's day with my dad next week. He was out of town so I didn't get to see him. Was a busy day for us, but well worth it!:)
