Yeah I like the packers to!! I am such a football nut I think theres only 2 teams I dislike! I will watch those teams as well just to see them get beat.But other than that I'm a fan no matter who I'm watching. Often the thrill for me is more so a tight close game over picking a favorite.Any game is good when it goes right to the wire!!

Oh yeah I won't be spending all day sunday in here when the season starts!! lol!!

I don't like The Denver Broncos esp. Elway so glad smiley is gone.The other is the baltimore ravens.Thats because of there owner Art Modell.

My all time favorite team is the browns! If you know any football history you can see why i dislike them the (broncos and ravens) . It doesn't matter who they play i go with the other team even if I know I'm gonna lose! The broncos because they knocked us out of superbowl (we may never get a chance again) not once but twice. The Ravens bc Art m. used to own the browns. When he sold them he kinda played some tricks with the city of cleveland which he was a member of the council. So there you go! but I like and enjoy watching any NFL game!

I dont really care for them either. I dont watch too many of the Browns games but I think they deserve a good season. The only team I just cannot stand is the Patriots...they get on my nerves so bad.

yeah they're ok I watch them but there not at the top of list.The poor browns.I sometimes get so mad at the browns I have to throw a tv brick at them. If they would just stop trading and learn to play as a team they would have a good year. Oh well I back them anyway and take a teasing for it!!

Thank you for the correction, Lori. Yes, I lived in the North Hills area for years. My parents are gone, now, but I have wonderful memories of Pittsburgh. I loved the STRIP and all that went with it. And then there is McNightmare Blvd. at rush hour, or the TUBES where you don't dare stop or use cruise control, dahn tahn where no 2 streets are parallel to each other, and of course goin' bohlin' wit da crew, tying back my hair with a gum band, turning on the spiggot to get some cold warter, and when the STEELERS, PENGUINS, or PIRATES are in town ya better just go with the flow.

At the end of last season my DH carefully removed the large "Raiders" decal off the back window on the car, he said they were not good enough to have a decal on his car anymore because they played so bad!! (that was an understatement!) ....so much for that, he is a die hard Raider's fan....has been forever...I had to buy him a new Raiders Tee Shirt last week! So this year he thinks they will be in contention for the playoffs...silly man!

Our weather here for Sunday is supposed to be freezing rain! Fantastic! My first game and I am going to be miserable. Cpogie - I would definately to the flask trick, but I am nursing so I can't :-( But I'll tell DH. He can have my share.
We are taking the train, to save the money from parking. It costs a fortune to park at Soldier Field!

Well I went to my very first Chicago Bears game yesterday! Froze my butt off. It rained almost the whole game and it was like 30 degrees and very windy. By the way...they lost in the last two minutes of the game! I think I got food poisoning from a hot dog I had there. :-( Other than that I had a great time. We took the Metra train into the city. That in itself was an adventure! I would go to another game - but just the pre-season games or first games when it's still nice out. Even though I love the Bears & Brian Urlacher ~ being outside freezing for four hours is just not for me! Oh yeah ~ and by losing yesterday the Bears are officially out of the playoffs. :-(

I am sorry that it was miserable and cold! for your first football game, my DH use to go to football games, of course it was the Raiders, who by the way won yesterday...can I tell you how happy my DH was???
