I'm hoping you folks can help me...I don't know the first thing about video mp3 players and want to purchase one for my son as a graduation gift...
Please suggest brands or types....or post ones you've had problems with...

I know nothing about them either :confused: , sorry. But I have been wanting one for a while now! So hopefully these ladies on here can lead us in the right direction! ;)

I have the IPod video, and it works really well. I have never really had many problems with it. I do suggest to get the warranty plan with it though. The battery life after awhile gets shorter, but there is a thing you can buy for $20 when that happens, and you just plug it into the bottom and it attaches to the back of the ipod and it helps the battery life last for days with 4AA batteries in it. I have had mine since it came out and thats about the only thing that has happened with it and I drop it all the time and use it almost constantly. Hope this helps.

i agree that the ipod is probly your best bet. they also have a lot of accessories and stuff that can be purchased to go a long with them ... so it's not limiting...
