Just like the sock exchange but with flip flops :D Basically people would sign up and you would be responsible for sending one person a pair of flip flops. and you receive a pair in return! I am not going to place a spending limit on this, just use your own judgement and get jiggy with it :D

a panty swap...not $45 vicki secrets panties and not 6 to a pack panties either - but nice cute reasonable ones. we could put our size and style preference...whatcha think?

oven mitts would be cool too; I'm a cheapie on dish cloths...just got a pack of 18 wash cloths at wally world and cut them in half...I buy different colors for kitchen and bathroom so I can tell them apart.

I like the towel swap one too! The panty one is good, but like you said you would have to put size, style, and all of that. I want to think of another one too, but it is so hard. We could do a funny t-shirt swap or something and just have like a $15 limit. I don't know. Thankfully I got the same person for my sock and frame swap!! Helps with shipping for sure.

That gives me an idea! We could have a "Surprise Sawp" and set the spending limit to something reasonable and just buy whatever we find unique or whatever within that price range. :confused:

You could do a pool swap, everyone sends something for the pool! That would be fun. People could send floats or something. They aren't that much money either. Just have a limit and say spend between $5-$15 or something. The suprise swap would be fun but I would never know what to send. Haha.

That is a good one. I guess not everyone has a pool or lives by a lake. I would take my float to the lake. You know we could always just say that when you send your information that you can just say what you like to do in the summer. Example: I like to tan, lay in the pool, and drink cold drinks by the pool! Then they would know different things they could send! Jess you should set up a swap like this! I will help you if you need/want!

thats a great idea! Yeah, I don't swim in the summer...or the winter. We have a city pool...but it's always over crowded with kids. (not that I have anything against them...i just find it hard to relax) and the lakes here are no swimming.... grrrr..... great Idea! Count me in when it's set up!

I'm glad that you liked them. They reminded me of the jellies that I used to wear as a kid. I thought they were cool, they didn't have any in my size :mad: and now that I'm pregnant my foot will get bigger. I gained a size and a half with my first child. Have you checked with the person in charge of the swaps? I know Brandy has asked everyone that did the sock swap if they had received their socks. She kept a list of who had each person. I'm sorry you didn't get yours.... I would also be a little leery of them, if that had happened to me. I have had great buddies!

Sounds like a lot of nice ideas for different types of swaps :)

How about a "Kids Swap"? Nah ... not actually swapping children, but sending items that remind you of childhood ... babydoll, jacks, bubbles, play doh, toy truck, matchbox cars, lollypops, etc. ???

Or one like the coupon trains except have a mismatched earring train? 1st person send all their mismatched earrings to the 2nd who checks if they have a match or can use a piece for something (hey .. maybe even add in broken jewelry just in case). They take out the pieces they can use and then put in all their mismatched earrings and broken pieces and pases it along. ???

Cookie swap? Everyone bakes enough cookies to send ... say 3 or 4 to each person playing. We could even include the recipe for the cookie.
