U.S. NHTSA recall press release with a lot of missing information
how many motorcycles affected?
no consequence provided by Kawasaki, though we all know that losing the rear suspension unexpectedly could cause loss of control, crash, major road rash, other injuries...especially if someone's wringing it out for the 0-60 at 2.5 seconds or the electronically limited 186 mph top end :(
no remedy from Kawasaki, though we can guess that eventually Kawasaki will figure out how to repair these bikes, as they surely won't want to out and out replace them or give you a refund at $11,699 list :rolleyes:Initiated as a defects investigation on March 24th, 2008, now a full-fledged recall
