Please Say Prayers for Allison (motherofthree)

I just talked with Allison (motherofthree) and she asked me to let everyone know that she would sure appreciate some more prayers. We all know that she's been going thru some really tough times, but now there is even more on her poor shoulders. She has had to have physical therapy lately, and in the course of her dr. and therapist discussing her case, they think that she may have fibromyalgia. :( She has an appointment again in the morning with her primary care physician, so hopefully we'll know more after. After her appt, she then has another final exam to go thru, too.

Maybe God listens to us here especially, 'cause He knows that we are persistant and caring. I'm not sure of the exact reason, but when we all get together and ask Him for help, He really takes care of our needs. Miracles have happened among the people here and prayers have been answered in the greatest ways.

I know that Allison will be grateful, but I would be, too, 'cause she is a very special, sweet girl and she really deserves to have her life come together and to have great joy in her life.

I'm always thinkin' of you and wish I could do more. The one thing we can always do for one another is say a little prayer;) From what we've discussed, I think your doctors may be right. You and I have a lot of similar symptoms, and they are a lot alike, but mine is def more Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Did they prescribe Lyrica for you? My clients with Fibromyalgia say it helps alot.
I haven't been doing well with my CFS. It seems to have gotten worse since the bout with flu/pneumonia and it has just stayed worse. I had kind of given up on getting any help, but have found a new doctor about an hour away that may be able to help.
That is why I haven't been very social lately, and now it seems that I have poison ivy on my hands:eek: Not a good thing for a massage therapist!
How is your grandma? Prayers for her too! I will try to talk to you soon;)

Allison~My prayers are going out to you!!! I hope the drs find out what it is. My mother has fibromialgia (sp?) and she is currently taking Lyrica. Since being diagnosed and the new med, her symptoms have lessened. She still has some days when it really gets to her, but all in all the meds have helped. Hugs & Prayers sent your way!!!

Oh man- my thoughts and prayers are with you Allison..and Dawn too.....I can relate to the whole pain thing..I have been putting off going to my DR to finally get diagnosed with Fibromyalgia- my mom seriously thinks I have it. I just am so sick of drs here and drs there..I HATE being sick or something wrong with me medically...

So what did the dr say? Did they figure it out? It upsets me when people can't just get a straight answer as to what the problem is and how it can be fixed.

I talked to Allison a little bit ago. She had her phone off. She was diagnosed with the fibromyalgia. She's just needed some time, and she's just started the Lyrica. Still in a lot of pain. I'm keeping my prayers up for her, and I'd really appreciate everyone else who does, too!

I'm a little late getting in on this one, things are just too busy around here & I can't keep an eye on SS as often as I'd like. Just know that I always offer up prayers for all my friends on the SS forums (and the other forums I frequent when life permits). And if I know of someone under particular stressors, I offer prayers for their caregivers as well.
