Gosh not to be a drama queen or anything, but I have to have surgery tomorrow afternoon for some female reasons. If I don't have the surgery I can damage my reproductive parts and when I do have the surgery there is no guarentee that I will not damage them anyway. So the doctor is going to try everything to make sure we can at least try in the next few months to get pregnant. The longer I wait the less of a chance I will have. This may all work out just fine, but I am worried to death about the fact of not having my own children. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers in advance:o .

My DR said I am showing early signs of PCOS and may have to get fertility treatments (and they are not even sure that will work). If you ever need to talk, please let me know. I can totally relate to how you are feeling right now. I honestly will not know if I can ever have kids and that just scares the crap outta me.:(

Good Luck today....I said a prayer. I have had 4 surgeries for female issues....all to make it possible for me to concieve within a year after each surgery then I would be back to square one and wouldn't be able to. I know how scary it can be. mine was due to tons of scar tissue growing around my tubes and uterus. The scar tissue was from my c-section when I had my daughter..they called them adhesions and they ran a muck inside me for years. very painful...made me only have 1 period a year......so 4 times I had them removed.

ya the day after this surgery you normally just sleep. i had it 2 years ago but for a little different of a reason. she will probably be in bed most of the day cause it is rather painful to sit straight up.

Infertility was a problem I dealt with 26 years ago. I wanted children so bad. That's all I wanted out of life was to be married and a Mom. Well, it didn't work out. My loving sister understood and shared the joy and heartaches that come with having children, with me. I just kept telling myself it was God's decision. God knew how my life would turn out better than me. My ex-husband of 22 years decided he would work when he wanted to and spend all his money on toys he wanted. God knew having children would make my life harder trying to work and feed more people, and knowing the fact they would come from a broken home. I'm 46 years old now and very satisfied with my life and have a new husband who works everyday and lives his life for me. He is sterile also.

She still was unable to conceive. After all she went through, she was told she was sterile, and she would NEVER be able to have children. She accepted that and wanted ot adopt. Her hubby said they would adopt. After they filed all of their paperwork with the state and county they lived in for adoption they got a letter from a young girl who was considering them as parents for her unborn baby. Her hubby decided he wanted biological children and left her! The adoption didn't go through because she was considered a single woman.

Since then, (this was 20+ years ago) she has left a very productive life. She considers my kids her kids. Whenever some one asks her if she has children she says YES, they live with their biological Mother and Father. You should see the looks she gets!! LOL!

I was told it was a preventive measure to make sure my antiobodies didnt cross contaimanite any of the kids....I just took what they said and did the shots at 28 weeks and after delivery

No one is really ready for a baby, you can be prepared but not ready, not until you get to see and hold your baby for the very first time, amazing how you can fall in love with that first look, then you are hooked for life!

Hey DeAnna, I've gotta say, I just read thru this ENTIRE thread and really feel like an a s s right now. Yep, I said it. I can't believe I never posted in here:eek: .
I think between the computer problems and being sick and all that kind of stuff, I didn't get in to many of the discussion threads for awhile. However, I do remember asking people how you were doing in some pms.
Anyway, all excuses aside, I hope I did not give the impression that I didn't care:o .
I do want you to know that I wish you the very best and I am glad that things are going well so far. Don't put too much pressure on yourself mentally to hurry and get pregnant, just have fun, like Lynne said. Treasure the time you have left without all the mommy responsibilities. If you treasure each stage, rather than feeling rushed, your life will seem much more fulfilling. I'll refer to that Trace Adkins song again..."You're Gonna Miss This....."(makes me cry every time)

Hey DeAnna, I've gotta say, I just read thru this ENTIRE thread and really feel like an a s s right now. Yep, I said it. I can't believe I never posted in here:eek: .
I think between the computer problems and being sick and all that kind of stuff, I didn't get in to many of the discussion threads for awhile. However, I do remember asking people how you were doing in some pms.
Anyway, all excuses aside, I hope I did not give the impression that I didn't care:o .
I do want you to know that I wish you the very best and I am glad that things are going well so far. Don't put too much pressure on yourself mentally to hurry and get pregnant, just have fun, like Lynne said. Treasure the time you have left without all the mommy responsibilities. If you treasure each stage, rather than feeling rushed, your life will seem much more fulfilling. I'll refer to that Trace Adkins song again..."You're Gonna Miss This....."(makes me cry every time)
