Gotta love Tivo! I had forgotten it was coming back on and still had a season pass set from last year.

I'm always amazed....they say they scour the enteries for the best of the best. Seeing some of the people who manage to come on the show, I can only think some of them are thrown in for comic relief. Seeing the one guys signature dish this year of caviar & white chocolate sauce ...... *YUCK*
I'd be embarrased if I offered Chef Ramsey a dish that made him sick

LOL Motherofthree! Sometimes I can't help but crack up over the way he talks to the cooks. Between the way he talks and the facial expressions he gets .....it quite funny. I love when he calls them donkeys :D

LMBO!!!! I know! Just the way he says things and along with his facial expressions like you said he is hilarious!!! Remember that guy from the other season that was sweating into the pot of pasta sauce!! Or that guy that was a cry baby?!! OMgosh!

Omgosh, Yeah I remember that!! I couldn't believe it!!!:eek: Gordan Ramsey had another show on fox..I forgot what it was called?? Where he went into failing restaurants and tried to help the owners. You know what I am talking about?:)

I loved Kitchen Nightmares as well!!! Some of the Restaurants he visited where simply in need of an over haul - update sort of thing. But there were a few that were just downright NASTY!!! Remember the one where he had to go downstairs into the storage area and found roaches everywhere??? gross gross gross....

He went to the one family owned little place....the one brother acted like a mafia guy. HUGE chip on his shoulder ...he would stand around eating and drinking wine. Family or not - an employee like that would be out on their rump!!

I'll be honest, I'm going to watch this one to the end mainly because I just love Chef Ramsey - but NONE of the contestants really shine this year.

I cannot stand Jen, she is such a manipulative twit. She does NOT work well with others at all and just seems to bring everyone around her down. She's willing to watch anyone else crash and burn so long as she walks away without a scratch.

I guess of the remaining chefs - either Corey or Petrozza would be my choice if I were choosing for my own restraunt - however I really liked Louross, his energy level, unique ideas and over all character stood a bit above everyone else.....I think had he shown more leadership skills, he'd still be there now

I totally agree with that! I would also have to say Corey though she is kind of shady sometimes too. If Jen wins, I'm going to be soooo mad!! :mad:

We DVR this show and watch it on Wednesdays usually - for the past 2 weeks while watching the playback, the last 2 minutes of the show have been all jumbled up and can't even see or hear the show - grr!! I keep forgetting to take back the box, but oh well.
So, I forgot we didn't see who left last week - still around are Corey, Christina, Petrozza and Jen. Corey is competent and has leadership skills, Christina has the heart but probably needs more experience, I never even notice where Petrozza is during service - guess that can be good that he's not screwing up too much and Jen - ugh - too much attitude!

Oh - and I had to rewind and crack up when Jean Philipe ran right into the glass door last week -too funny!

SOOOOOOO GLAD Christine won!!!!! She may be younger, but that just means she will be around a lot longer to run that kitchen and she still has an openness to learn, unlike Petrozza who probably is already set in his ways as far as running a kitchen! Christine can be molded now!
