I'm sure many of you out there have some story about your pregnancy that was a funny moment. I remember my mom (gosh I was little) sitting at down at the table after she just fixed her plate at the buffet and she no longer had a plate at the table. You guessed it It was in her lap!
Tell us your funny story lets get this section up and running with something.:)

I don't have a pregnancy story but my daughter is 13-years old and anyone who has a teenager knows that it is non-stop drama constantly.
She was going out for cheerleading and needed to practice the night before, she took her shower before she went and practiced, why I do not know. But her hair is long, like middle of her back long, and it was still wet when she went to practice her jumps and cheers. She came back after like 3 minutes complaining that she couldn't practice any longer because: "her hair was too heavy and it was weighing her down!" :D She couldn't jump as high as she could the first day in practice and figured that it had to be her wet hair instead of the fact that she didn't want to do it, and she didn't stretch out first!!!
I was not going to laugh until my husband was shaking the couch so bad with his uncontrollable laughter.
After she finally admitted that she didn't want to practice any more she has been a sport about dealing with our jokes and her 'heavy hair'.
She, unfortuneately, did not make the cheerleading squad, but she is really not that heartbroken about it, after she figured out that she would have to look good and try to be a role model for other girls if she got on the squad. She likes being a tomboy, and doesn't want to have to worry about her hair or makeup or her legs being shaven all the time!!!
The drama continues........

My daughter was born at the end of July last year, so I was very, very pregnant for a great deal of the summer. On top of that, we live in Florida. Need I say more?
When I was pregnant, my husband and I were constantly battling over the thermostat. He is very warm natured and likes to keep the thermostat set at 78F or 79F in the summer, which means that the temp in the house has to get to 80F or 81F before the AC turns on. That was way, way too hot for me, so I kept changing the thermostat to76F or 77F. I kept asking my husband if he would just leave the thermostat alone because I was already wearing as little as possible and I couldn't stop sweating. His answer to me was to not take such hot showers! Ummm... I had been out of the shower for 2 hours and I had actually taken a cool shower. That was not the right thing to say to a hormonal, hot pregnant lady in the middle of the summer in Florida! I explained that it was NOT from taking a hot shower and that it was very normal. When he made the same comment on another day, I opened up my "What to Expect When You're Expecting" book to the page that says that it's normal for pregnant women to get hot easier because their metabolism is higher and I MADE him sit there and read it. I then told him to never, ever tell me that I shouldn't be taking hot showers, because that simply wasn't the problem. Needless to say, he never mentioned it again. LOL

I have a story about my one year old. We were at target shopping the other day. He hates shopping! So I thought I would keep him quiet by opening a package of the gerber snacks (kind of like cheese doodles for babies). He was eating them and being good but I figured he had enough so I tossed the container in the back of the cart. As I am shopping he starts screaming at the top of his lungs. He is sobbing away and he really doesn't cry tears much so I knew something was wrong. I look at him and see that he was trying to reach for the cheese puffs through a crack in the back of the cart seat where his back should go. Well wouldn't you know that he got his arm stuck. And I mean STUCK. He is a chubby little guy. Well I am struggling to get it out and he is screaming so I start to panic. His little arm is turning all red. I thought he was going to break it. So I start screaming SOMEBODY HELP ME MY KID IS STUCK. With in like 10 seconds there must have been like 20 people surrounding us. We live near an army base so there were soldiers, target workers and just shoppers all trying to help him. I am close to tears (no help at all) so someone pushes me out of the way and three people were working on trying to get his chunky little arm out. Finally someone grabs a bottle of Johnson's baby wash and pours it all over his arm. Then it slides right out. I pick him up and instantly he quits crying and starts patting me on my back as if saying you'll be okay mommy!! Well needless to say I gave him back the cheese puffs and we got out of there as fast as we could. I saw one of the people who helped us pointing at us to his wife as if saying those people right there!! It was a scene. I haven't been back since. I can laugh about it now but a week ago it wasn't so funny!

I'm sure I would have panicked as well! When my son was little we lived in a bi-level home. The rail was wrought iron and one day he stuck his head through to look down stairs. Yeah you guessed it once his ears went through they opened up like dumbo ears and I thought I would never get his head back out.My last attempt before we called the firedept was to try oil, thankfully that and hold his ears down we finally got him out.I laugh now but I wasn't laughing then. :)
