Aww, you missed the very one that our household is most looking forward to--

http://disney.go.com/disneypictures/wall-e/

The Pixar/Disney films always please all of us--from the youngest to the oldest, there's something for everyone in the film! :)

OH yeah! I saw the previews for this one! I hope it is not like Short Circuit! I cried when I saw that movie!

I would love to see several of the new movies--Indiana Jones, The Dark Knight, and others, but we'll have to wait until most of them come out on DVD. Some of the flicks are shown with the volume up so loud, that it's actually painful for me and the little one. The theaters need to schedule reduced volume showings for people with good hearing or to hand out earplugs for those of us that still wish to be able to hear when we get older! They have earplug dispensers at work--why not at the theater, too? :p

I agree it is too loud for me also;)

We are so fortunate here. We have a movie theater that shows first-run movies for $2.25 a seat. I am taking my son to see the new Indiana Jones movie later today.

We saw Iron Man a couple of weeks ago and loved it! We can't wait to see the sequel.

We would also like to see the new Batman movie, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, and the latest Mike Myers movie The Love Guru. We saw the trailer for it before Iron Man and the entire theater was ROFL. Here's the link to it:

Sounds like my hubby. The last movie we saw alone together was The Hunt for Red October, which came out in 1990. :(

My hubby has not left the house in nearly two weeks. Can you believe that? I would go insane just sitting around the house for that length of time.

Oh my Chris! Are you serious?????? You have way more patience than me. I love going to the movies and I always do things Albert wants to do. It's a fair exchange.

Trust me, my patience is wearing thin.

The new Indiana Jones movie is great! Our movie theater raised the price to $2.75 a ticket, but that's still a deal, so I'm not going to complain!

We also want to see Hanco ck

and Get Smart:

I want to see that too Mae, but it received REALLY bad reviews. The only M. Night movie that I liked was the Sixth Sense. The rest of them were not that great IMO. I was really excited to see this movie and now I am not sooo sure.:(

I saw The Happening yesterday and I was VERY disappointed! The plot was honestly STUPID and reminded me of The Village.

I do love Mark Wahlberg though and he did a great job!

i watched the happening over the weekend...and I have to say I thought it was okay. Every I was with ( a total of 6) thought it was a little far fetched... they thought it was a waste... but I enjoyed it.
I may be the only one in america though. The reviews on it are really bad too.

we will have to see Zohan as DH was a hairstylist for 15 years it's a must see...and we both absolutely love M Night's movies...all of them...so, we'll definitely see the new one...we're bad about waiting for movies to come to DVD though...sometimes the wait seems like forever...

The Star Wars movie wasn't that bad its just that it's considered more geared towards kids. Star Wars fanatics were disappointed that it wasn't a high budget, live action movie. I thought the story line was good (it's set between Episodes II and III), and the animation was good too except Yoda's ears were too big...heck, I sat thru it 4 times this weekend.

I watched The Happening the other night and i did not like it at all especially the way it ended, but if they made a second one i would probably still watch it in hopes they would get a little more detailed with it.

I loved the Strangers...it definitely had a real creepy quality to it...reminded me a little of When A Stranger Calls...that kind of creepy...

Max Payne...not so much...actually I'm kinda wondering if the people that made this movie ever even played the game...i wouldn't recommend this one either...

Yea I had a hard time sleeping after watching Strangers b/c I felt like someone was watching me.

For real I would rather watch someone play the video game of Max Payne than watch the movie again.
