I thought it would be fun to start a thread about favorite beauty tips, etc.
What have you tried that has worked? What would you recommend to others?
I have rough elbows and I have found something that REALLY works....
I cut a lemon in half and put granulated sugar on the top of the lemon. I rub the juicy side of the lemon on my elbows. The lemon serves as a bleaching agent to get rid of dark elbows and the sugar helps exfoliate.
This works great!:D

When my hair is oily and I don't have time to wash it, I sometimes use talc or baby powder to soak up the oil. It's a quick fix!:)

I really have no beauty tips, just what my mom use to do and she had the softest, wrinkle free skin ever, she used Shiseido face cream, then she used plain old petroleum jelly, put it on and wipe it off.

I also use vinegar to wash my hair and I use baking soda as a clarifier for my hair.

Keep well-hydrated, & get your beauty sleep. Remember, growing older is mandatory but growing up is totally optional, so never forget how to play!

a good thing for that would be a toner. Microdermabrasion will help also. It can be very costly to get done professionally, but a set to do it yourself is not bad.

if any one would go the other alternative (herb)
during the winter my skin, face would dry out even im wearing olay sunscreen. my sis introduce to me this china speacial ginseng cream and i fell in love with it.. im young in my 20's but my skin looks healthier and brightens the face and it holds it moisture throughout the day.. in the bottle its gets rid of wrinkles and smoothes out skin... first time i work in the mall last year my co workers came in at work with serious crack about to bleed skin... she got so tired of putting lotion and i told her she can use mine.. but the time it was closing she was trying to find me and wondering where she can get it. i told her i can it for her and bring it the next day.. few days later i got 5 ladies working in the beauty section coming up to me and gave me money to buy that jar... lol.. it was funny... news fly fast...
for a person who has psoris problem use fluocinonide cream it works.. (also its great for someone who got tatoo on the eyebrows , lips it keeps the color last longer)

Only advice I can give is to sleep on a satin pillowcase...keeps your hair nice if you have had it curled...
and make sure you remove all your make up at night
