OK, I know this is a strange question but I am a new mommy and I've had some trouble getting poo-poo stains out of my son's clothing. He goes to daycare and he seems to have at least one diaper blow out a week. By the time I get his stained clothing home and in the wash, it is usually too late to get the stain out. I've been using an Oxi-like stain remover spray and that doesn't work (I'm using Dreft liquid detergent). Any suggestions? I hate ruining his clothes!

You could try BIZ or spray and wash, but I don't remember anything that really took out all the stains when my kids were babies.

Soak them in a bucket with Biz and water for a while. You might mention to the daycare provider that when that happens, the pants should be rinsed out thoroughly! If they come home wet in a bag, it would still be easier than if they've dried already. Good luck!!

Just kindly ask the daycare to gently wash the clothing out for you,so it will not stain the clothes, you can politely express your concerns to them and hopefully they will help you out so you won't have to keep ruining clothes

I use the Dreft stain remover (it is made just for that exact thing!) prior to washing. You can also try the Woolite Pet Stain Remover for carpets - I've used that prior to getting the Dreft, and both work well, as long as the stain has not set in for too long. Both have enzymes that tackle food and waste particles, so it works on spit up too, and lots of food stains. . . my son likes to try to feed himself now, and doesn't always get the food IN his mouth!
If the item is white, I use the sanitary setting on my washer which is REALLY hot - works wonders!! (use it on ALL our whites!)
