angel-00 I'm glad to hear you got a crock pot! If you look in the forum for cooking and entertaining you will find a 3 page thread all about crockpot cooking. If you don't find what you are looking for google it!

I've made this recipe a few times and think it's really good:

http://southernfood.about.com/od/crockpotporkandham/r/bl10c4.htm

It's been awhile since I made it but if memory serves me right I did increase the vinegar and brown sugar to taste. Oh, and even though it says Sweet and Sour it's a VERY mild flavor.

Personally my favorite site for any kind of recipe is All recipes, heres's a link to their Slow Cookers Recipes: http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Main-Dish/Slow-Cooker/Main.aspx. It's great since people like you and me rate the recipes so you can get a better idea if you'd like what you're making.

all recipes.com is a great site! I have found many useful recipes and various ways to make them. I just recently found a new punch recipe calling for french vanilla icecream instead of sherbet. WOW! it was sooo good everyone at the reception asked how I made it!

I've tried allrecipes.com, my family and I didn't really like the taste of anything I tried. BUT I did find a recipe site that we've liked everything I've made. It's called recipesource.com
they have an easy search, just key in crockpot and you'll see there are 360 recipes. If you know exactly what you are looking for like "crockpot chicken" or "crockpot stew", just enter any words and you can also do an advanced search. I really like this website for ease and like I said every recipe I've used has been good tasting. Enjoy.

And if you want to make something in particular, like swiss steak, go to www.google.com and just put in swiss steak recipe, you can look through numerous recipes until you find one that appeals to you, have fun with the crockpot, you can make almost anything.
