Contact Lenses-Your Favorite Brand

I have been wearing 02Optix for a couple years now. When I got them, they were the most breathable and most comfortable on the market. I am looking for very breathable contacts since that seems to help eyes stay moist. It looks like a few new very breathable contacts have been introduced in the last couple years, so I wanted to ask all of you who wear contacts what your favorite brand is?

I've tried Acuvue Advanced and liked O2Optix better. Have any of you tried Acuvue Oasys, Bausch and Lomb's Pure Vision, or O2Optix or others and have an opinion on the best one?

I have used the Acuvue Oasis for about a year and a half now and they are awesome. I used to have a lot of trouble with dry eyes, but these have worked great for me. I was using the Acuvue 2 before and my dr gave me a sample of these to try and now I'm set!

I use Acuvue Oasys, but the only other kind I tried was Acuvue Advanced. Oasys was just alot more comfortable for me.

Sorry, I don't wear contacts or I would give you my opinion. :) I think everyone is probably in bed or something, lol.

I wear Focus Night & Day and I love them. I have never been the type of person who likes to get up in the morning and put contacts in and then take them out each night. But with Focus Night & Day I can wear them continuously for 30 days then I take them out, throw them away, and put in a new pair. I have been wearing these for about 4 years now. :)

I've been wearing Acuvue 2 for about a year now and I really like them. What solution do you use, I use Clear Care it's great.

I've been using Clear Care too, but I got a bottle before I used up the other solution I have and know I don't want to use the other one. Now I like Clear Care better and have about 4 bottles of another one that I don't want to throw away. Oops!

I wear Biofinity lenses. I have NEVER had problems with dry eyes and some days I even have them in for 16 hours.

I just got contacts in November....and I was wondering.....

someone told me that in order to try a new brand/style of contacts, I had to get another eye exam?? ..is that true???

I know each brand of contact might fit your eyes slightly different, and you have to be fitted if you change. I don't know if that means you need an entire exam again. When I find the time to go back, I think I'm going to ask them to fit me for 2 or 3 brands just in case I don't like them if I try something new. Hopefully they will say yes so I can try a couple.

Thanks for replying! Has anyone else been fitted for more than one brand at an appointment or changed contacts after a few months? Did they charge you for a new exam each time they fitted you?

I wear Pure Vision Toric. I find that I have very crisp, clear vision with this brand and also the night-time halo is almost completely eliminated.

I did try the Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism and Biomedics Toric but found that my vision wasn't as clear. It was as if I was looking through water.

I prefer the Complete and Opti-Free Replentish solutions. I have tried Aquify and Renu but found they do burn my eyes.

I use Acuvue Oasys and love them! I have not used eye drops since day 1!:D

I wear synergeyes.no problems with them at all. recommended to replace every 6 months due to separating of soft and hard parts of lense..I get 1 year wear from them...I have had 5 eye surgeries in one eye and have glacoma and have no problems...clean with opti fresh
