I agree, you go through all the trouble of trying to answer the questions correctly and all you get is a spin and a "chance" of winning a prize. I doubt if your odds are any better by just taking the free spin, instead of answering the questions and then spinning. They are definitely stacking the deck in their favor.

I did get my prize from the first Sophie's Smarts game....where the questions were the same and you got a prize by answering them all correctly. I choose the note pad which was very nice. My daughter, in college, got her highlighter with the post it flags and my Mother got the post it note cube. But none of us won anything the last time around.

I figured I'd try my luck by answering the questions and then spin, but it hasn't done me any good, so far. I do notice, that if you get an answer wrong, it will let you play again until you get all the questions correct, then you can spin, but then if you try to play again, it will tell you, you've had your chance for the day, to try again tomorrow.

We did that a long time ago, but the questions change all the time, plus, did you know you do not have to do the questions to spin? in the upper right hand corner it says spin, click on that then just spin the wheels....easier then answering the questions and having to start over.
