I got a sample in the mail of their face wash and pore minimizing lotion and I'm hooked. I even use their daily cleansing cloths-super easy to remember. If you have blackheads you'll want to try their nose strips-for years I used oil of olays and this is night and day different! I was floored at what came out, and what hasn't come back  Biore ROCKS!!!

I love Biore products as well. Did your face wash have little beads in it? If so, I got the same sample. It is definitely something I am willing to purchase. A little went a long way.

Do you mean the beads that get warm on your face? I love. I wish that it would stay warm longer. For the longest time, I could not find any of there products. But I love Biore. It does ROCK

I love the Biore Pore Strips too! I use them right when I get out of the shower - that way my pores are opened up good. I love looking at the strip after I peel it off of my face to see everything that it gets out. It almost looks like a little cactus.

I have to ask and I'm really not trying to be rude or anything. I have never used strips like these.I was using a complete skin care line from avon but recently went back to marykay. If i'm using that I really shouldn't need these strips right?? Are they for blackheads ? I remember a friend using some kind of strip once and it removed some skin across the bridge of her nose. This was several years ago I'm sure there improved. But it scared me!
Would it be similar to using my microdermabrasion?

Yes those strips are for removing blackheads amoung other things, lol, and you first have to wet your nose then put the strip on, let it dry and then remove it. I have never seen anything on the strip after using it, thankfully it was a sample I used, lol
and No, it is not like microdermabrasion, not even close. very gentle on the skin if you ask me, did not hurt at all.

You're not being rude, you just seem curious. No matter what skin care line you use you can still get blackheads. I think it really just depends on the size of your pores. If you have larger pores, then they're going to get clogged easier and you'll be more likely to end up with blackheads.
I've been using the Biore Pore Strips for several years and have never had a problem with them removing skin on my face. I'm not sure why that happened to your friend. Maybe your friend already had really dry skin?
I've never done microdermabrasion, but I really don't think it's similar at all.

the micro dermabrasion is actually called microderm exfoliant it just feels like sand in my face scrub I only use it every 3 days or so. I love it!

i used the strips from biore once and they removed the blackheads and the hair off my nose too. it did not remove any skin
so if you have blackheads these strips really do work.

Yes... being a teenager, I have acne-prone skin.
I started using Biore pore strips on my nose and forehead about two years ago, and I have been happy with them ever since. I use cetaphil unscented lotion after the treatment because (while they do NOT peel off any skin) they do tend to leave your skin a bit flaky afterwards. I usually stick my head in a bowl of hot water and steam my pores open or, like the poster said, take a shower before. They work great and it is VERY satisfying to see all the stuff it pulled out afterwards!! :o

i guess I am very fortunate I have always spent a small fortune on a good skin care line.I will tell any young person start a good face program now so you have beautiful skin when you get older.I had acne as a teen and to be honest I still get a pimple or 2 once a month.( along w/ craving chocolate etc...). But now they are very small and don't stay. Blackheads I have never had but always thought it was because I use a face wash twice daily followed by a moisturizer.I have used moisturizers (along with several other face creams) for so long if I don't put it on after a bath I feel like my face is going to crack!
My secret to getting tid of a pimple is peroxide it removes the infection and takes away the red. follow it up with some moisturizer to keep it soft.

I agree. Biore has awesome products. I got a few free samples from them, and I instantly felt younger and prettier. Plus, the product really does go a long way. This is one of the few times that I actually bought a product after sampling it.
