Does anyone watch this show? The girls and I started watching it when it started a few weeks ago.

Last nights show reminded me too much of the relationship between my m-i-l and myself. I felt so bad for the man Ray Hernandez who was in the hotseat! You could tell he was torn between his wife and Mother. He did win $100,000.00 though!

Do any of you think you could ever go on a show like this?

I've never seen/heard of it Mae... what's the premise of the show. Is it a gameshow format? :confused: :)

Lynne... it comes on right after American Idol on Wednesday night. The premises is the "contestant" is asked 100 questions using a lie detector. 50 of those questions are used for the game. When the question is asked, they have to say true or false. If they answer correctly the move up towards winning $10,000 for the first section of questions. The questions get harder as they move up in the sections. The have the potential to win $500,000 if they answer ALL of the questions correctly. Here's a link to the show... I have watched the show. I am not sure how I feel about it yet though. Sometimes it is funny, then sometimes I feel like they are ripping them apart. I know they had to know what they were signing up to do when they agreed to do it but some of the questions are totally uncalled for. I am sure they go home happy because they won money but you know some people are hurt by the results. Still I watch it on and off!

And then again I sit there and think about what type of person would actually go on that show....someone who is REALLY money hungry...

I agree, some of the question could really come back to haunt you!

I would NEVER go on a show like this. I have nothing to hide, DH knows everything about me.

Just shows that some people will do ANYTHING for the almighty $$$. :(
