Prayers for NIU students, staff, families

Shooter at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, shot at least 15 people this afternoon in a lecture hall. Praying for the students, faculty, staff, and their families and friends. Thing is, the campus had been on alert due to Virginia Tech-type threats and racial slurs left on bathroom walls back in mid-December.

That is so sad, long gone are the days of feeling safe in school. Prayers for all involved.

What the hell is this world coming to!!??
I didn't even know this happened because the news is so sad and depressing, I almost try to hide from it sometimes:(
The prayer list gets longer and longer...adding those affected to it...

I just heard about the shootings on NIU. How sad!!! The victims' families as well as the ones mentioned below will be in our prayers.

There was a shooting at E. O. Green Jr. High in Oxnard, CA on Tuesday. Unfortunately the 15 year old boy, Larry kin id brain dead. He is being kept alive so his organs can be used for transplants. I just heard on the local news that 7 of his organs have already been harvested to save lives.

The 14 year old classmate who shot him numerous times in the head is going to be charged as an adult for murder. This is so sad for all the families involved!!!

This is where my fiancee's sister is wanting to go to in the fall...I cant believe this happened...and in my home state! So sad! :( Why do people do this?
