I am so sorry to hear this, but if you have a straight edge rasor blade that will do the trick, other than that a sharp knife? anything with a nice sharp edge, and goodluck!

I clean wax from things all the time.....It's one of my hobbies, candle making.
Get some heavy, thick gloves. Boil some water, either put the boiling water directly on the wax, or soak the towel in the water. The wax should lift right up, or melt away. Have a dry towel handy also, to wipe away the wax. Having that straight edge will be handy. I hope it works. Please be super careful with that water.....

I've been able to scrape a lot off (putting my driver's license to good use :D), I just wasn't sure how to get the remaining residue off. I'll definitely try the hot towel trick! Thanks!

i already had a wax spill on my carpet and wall from the ceramic candle warmer that you put a large glass candle in.....well my cat knocked it over and it spilled.... so i used a hair dryer for the wall and it melted the wax and i was able to wipe it off. Then used an iron for the carpet, but laid down paper towel first and went over the paper towel with the iron. Took awhile, but it worked.........Good Luck!

You are very clever, thanks for the information on using the hair dryer, I did not think about that! lol

Well, I know this doesn't have anything to do with your oven but you can put candle holders that have wax in them inside your freezer and the wax will pop right off.

oooh! I know this one! If you spill candle wax on the carpet, put a brown paper bag over it and iron it up on a low setting. It comes right up into the bag. I was a candle consultant and they taught us this trick. I have used it myself before too.
