Need a prayer for a miracle!!!

My mom and dad's friend Tom is very very ill. They think he will only live another week. He was diagnosed with liver failure a few months ago, and they recently had diagnosed him with cancer. They told him that they could not treat either one due to more complications. If they tried to treat the cancer, it would basically attack his liver, and if they try for a liver transplant the cancer could spread real quick and kill him. Well, right now he is in the hospital, and he is hemroging and puking blood, they are giving him blood and meds for the pain, and he also has already signed a DNR! Please say a prayer (or thought) for a miracle, and also please pray for his wife and family, they really could use them. Thank you everyone! :)

Trust me, it has all came so fast, and so much is wrong with him, it is so sad. And he is only 54 (I think that is young) He is such a sweet guy and is even smiling (or so my mom and dad say) I could not go to the hospital cause I am so sick, I would not want to make it worse on him. I hope I can get better soon before something happens, I would like to go and see him! Thank you for the prayer!

Liz, my thoughts and prayers will be with both your family and his family (and him of course!), that some type of miracle will happen, and that he will not suffer. Pain is the worst because it negatively affects the person directly, and everyone around them who has to see their loved one in pain!

My mom wanted to come home before she passed away, but the doctors wouldn't let her, because it was already beyond where they could do that. It is a small comfort, but I'm glad that your friend is able to have that. HUGS to you all involved, it is such a sad and painful thing to be waiting out. You're still in my prayers!
