I used to dye my hair blonde, but since I got preg. I have not dyed it again...So, right now it is brown, with natural blonde and red highlights, and it is almost down to my bum! I am hoping to get blonde highlights put in it when I get more income!

Hmmm - I have had the same hairstyle for - ummmm - let me count - 17 years! Ummmmm - that puts me back in junior high! Yes - sadly enough!!
I have brown curly hair (ringlets if I'm not careful), not kinky curly, just curly, that is just below my shoulders. I pull the front section (from behind ears) up and pin it on the middle top of my head.
I hate things in my face, and my hair gets frizzy if there is any moisture in the air (keep in mind, I'm in SEATTLE!), so I can't just style it and let it go for the day - I end up looking like I got electrocuted! LOL
My hubby would LOVE me to get a new style, I'm just stuck in a very loooooooooong rut!
(On very special occasions, I do attempt to wear my hair down, and sometimes it works, sometimes it ends up pulled up!)

My hair is long and brownish blonde. It is naturally curly but most days I straighten it. I really want to cut it, but DH likes it long.

I used to be blonde but after each child it kept getting darker so after 5 it is dark brown and to keep the gray out i just keep coloring it dark brown. As for the style it is all one length and to the middle of my back. I would like it to be longer but it just wont seem to grow past there.

Mine is brown, curly, and just a bit past the shoulders. I too have been suffering through the same hairstyle. I'm 32 and really don't want short hair but feel like I need a change. I've done a lot of research on curly hair and how most hairstylist cut it like straight hair so you don't get the best look, so I found a hairstylist in my area that does curly hair cuts. Of course, they cost a bit more but the place got good reviews so when Income Tax comes I am there! LOL, if it comes out nice enough I'll post a before and after. :) -dontcha just love those shows that post before and after shots? I sure do!

I know what you mean - my hair is naturally curly, and I can't even straighten it! 10 minutes after straightening, its frizzy! :) The grass is always greener on the other side - I'm sure if I had straight hair, I'd want curly - LOL

Oh I would love naturally curly hair:)
I have naturally curly hair. I wear it straight, parted on the side and long (although I just had 6 inches cut off.. still down to my chest). I love wearing my hair curly (when it actually CURLS) but there is one really weird thing that always makes me straighten it: when I wear my hair curly, strangers touch it. Like... pull on curls, or just pull my hair in general OR run their hands through it. It happens literally almost every time I leave the curl in my hair. It freaks me out.

What's the most you have paid for a haircut and the least...
$35.00 ( the most, and it wasn't worth it)
$8.00 ( and it looked like 8 dollars!! )

Brandy, it's fun to be pampered. I hope you enjoyed it!
My sister has paid for me to get my hair cut at the salon she goes to, and I'm sure she paid a pretty penney for it. My sister doesn't do anything cheap! Last time we went, we all three (me, sis, niece) got our hair cut and styled, and my niece got highlights. My sis got a facial, and I had my make up done. The bill was $600.
The cheapest I've paid is probably around $8-$9. Nowadays, I rarely get my hair cut. Last time was June 2006.

My hair is dark brown with white roots....It has been every shade of brown with a few travels into red and black (not at the same time!) It has also been pink and it has been purple. (Never trust the pictures on the box!)
When I was little, I had LONG hair, down to my knees. I got it cut when I was 11. My mom and I made a deal, get it cut to the middle of my back. Okay, sounded good to me...went to someone's house, a *friend*, who put my hair into a ponytail at the nape of my neck and CUT above the ponytail holder!
My hair has nto looked the same since. It has been fried with a home perm (never trust someone who had just had her first day at cosmetology school), colored at home (not too tragic...just funky colors), and a few episodes of my mother *evening* out my bangs......read being left with 1/4 inch of a bang....
I have taken to cutting my own hair. I get mad and take it out on my hair....the funny thing is, I have been taking pictures of a pageboy bob style to every salon I went to, and they said they could not do it....I hacked my hair off, and you know what? My hair decided to bob perfectly into a wavy pageboy!!! :D
If I pay for a haircut, it is usually about $20 including tip....I spent $90 on a cut and color once when I lived in Mississippi...I cringed when I handed over the debit card....but what the hey? My then husband had gotten a $500 commission check and had bought himself a $300 game console....

Straight from their own web page.....
As a charity and strictly a charity, we must purchase the custom prostheses we provide for our recipients.
The hair prosthetics Locks of Love provides are custom-made from donated ponytails for each child’s head. They retail between $3,500 to $6,000.
