A couple of people asked me where I get some of my coupons and wanted a list of contacts for the companies to write to.....

Here is some info before you contact them:
1. NOTHING IN RETURN IN GUARANTEED (you may get a coupon, a thank-you or nothing at all!)
2. Alot of companies will send coupons not offered to the general public such as in a local paper
3.If the page asks for a UPC....9 times out of 10 you don't have to enter one
4. If the link takes you to a home page...just find "contact us" usually located at the bottom of the page or at the top right
5. You can e-mail companies about every 3-4 months to request samples/coupons
6. All I ask is if they offer samples/coupons...it seems to work
7. An auto filler program would work wonders for this task!!

I have received many coupons (some for free items such as Sara Lee breads and Jif PB)...last week I saved over $100 in the coupons I received!! I know other people who receive coupons for free scrubbing bubbles, cereal, etc!

Compliments also seem to work. I recently contacted Sara Lee and let them know how much my grandchildren love their State Fair corndogs and that if I'd let them, they'd eat nothing else and they sent me a coupon for a free box, one for $.55 off them and one for $.50 off any Sara Lee product!

Thank you for all the addresses.....I'll be spending alot of time writing to these companies!! I just recently got 2 coupons for any snuggle products--FREE; from writing to them, just for asking for a sample. I also recently got a bunch of travel size samples from Eucerin too from writing to them. Complimenting also works---When I called Dove, to tell them I loved their Nutrium line (that they discontinued) they appologized for no longer carrying it, and sent me a ton of coupons for cents off & a few freebies.:D

You can contact purina every 6 weeks for coupons. I also contact www.catspride.com right regularly and they send coupons for cat litter. The last time I received their coupons they sent me 4 free product coupons! I went to Wal-mart and got 4-20lb. containers of litter for free! In my experience with Kraft Foods, they do not send coupons per request. They only send them if you have a bad product experience. That makes no sense!

I contacted four companies and have already gotten an email from 2 telling me they are sending me a coupon for a free product (Sunny D and Skintimate). I was moderately surprised that they actually responded personally to things I had included in my email. This is a WONDERFUL post (and responses with more companies)!

Wow! 4 out of 4 have emailed back, all sending coupons and or goodies.
I emailed MONSTER drinks going on about how they kept my son awake enough to study and get good grades, and they are send MONSTER goodies! :)

And I got this reply from DaVinci for those of you who buy the this to flavor your coffee:

Unfortunately, I think the companies will get a lot less generous since their requests are going to increase dramatically. I make these kinds of requests on my own occasionally, but I don't post what I get. It's not that I don't want to share. The reason is, if they are posted they will get slammed by a lot of people at once and I feel like it puts our chances of getting anything in the future in jeopardy. You can do this kind of thing on your own with practically any product. There are email addys, phone numbers or both on the packaging. I have had about a 75% success rate in getting something. I've now had to make sure that I don't contact any of these companies listed, because I don't want to add to their deluge. I hope you all understand my reasoning, and don't get upset by what I am trying to say.:o

Not only that, but these companies are being bombarded at once with requests. I really hope the companies still send out coupons in the future.:(

Unfortunately, I think the companies will get a lot less generous since their requests are going to increase dramatically. I make these kinds of requests on my own occasionally, but I don't post what I get. It's not that I don't want to share. The reason is, if they are posted they will get slammed by a lot of people at once and I feel like it puts our chances of getting anything in the future in jeopardy. You can do this kind of thing on your own with practically any product. There are email addys, phone numbers or both on the packaging. I have had about a 75% success rate in getting something. I've now had to make sure that I don't contact any of these companies listed, because I don't want to add to their deluge. I hope you all understand my reasoning, and don't get upset by what I am trying to say.:o

I only tried to contact one company and quess what.....due to high requests of this kind we can not send out any coupons or samples at this time

I did get more positive responses than negative. However, I agree with the ladies. I have been going the "contact us" route for a long time now on products I use daily. It's just one of the things I do to make my dollars stretch . I'd hate to get shut down permenantly because they're all being overwhelmed by requests.:(
