How do we get manufactures points?

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if someone could help me out. I wanted to know how I could get manufactures points, I'm having alittle trouble, can someone please help!!! lol

It says "In order to visit a manufacturer's web site, go to the "Select Sample" link and click on a sample that you want to learn more about. This will bring you to a product screen, where you will have the option to learn more about the manufacturer and their products."

I'm not sure where I'm supposed to look, is it where we want to order a sample?

It also say that "You will receive 15 FTMs for visiting manufacturer sites located under the "Current Samples and Savings" section. Sites associated with "Offers" or "Contest" section are not part of the FTM program as these sites are not associated with a sampling event." "We only credit FTMs for one visit per manufacturer, even if they have had more than one sample on our site."

I hope someone can help me out with this, with simple steps on how to go about what I'm looling for, thanks!!

Hi Kris, You do not get points for going to different sites, in fact if you go to earn tryer miles at the top of Home Page...click on that, enter your password and it will tell you about the points........do not expect to much from it...you need a minimum of 1,000 points to try and get something, and being that they do not keep this part up to date with gifts...well lets just say they are pretty worthless....BUT we have better samples in here anyways! so help yourself and hope to see you post here!!

Some of them do give you extra points for visiting the manufacturer site. Back when I was trying to rack up tryer miles, I would go to every manufacturer site. At that time, about 1/3 to 1/2 gave you extra points for visiting the site. There was nothing in particular you had to do once you went to the site. I don't do it anymore because, like cpogie said, the miles are pretty useless anymore. You would do much better to start coming here to the forums and getting all the freebies and samples that we have listed.;)

I totally agree with Carol! It would be nice to at least get a little something for what we've earned in the past!

They don't tell you which ones they will give you points for. I just discovered it by accident because I did go to a manufacturers site a couple times. I noticed that it showed up on my points--when I looked at the detailed points. So I started going to every one of them. There was nothing particular you had to do. Just going to the site gave you the points. I don't know if they give points for that anymore. I quit doing it a while back. Also I believe it was 15 points for "visiting Manufacturer Site".

I was wrong about what it says on point details when you have visited the manufacturer site. The first entry below is what it looks like:
