What works best for you as far as face cleansers, toners, scrubs, etc?

I've always had luck with Clinique 3 Step, but have also used Neutrogena.

Would you be willing to pay more if the skin care regimen REALLY worked?

I just use whatever I can find on clearance, or what I can get for free after rebate at Walgreen's.

If I had the money, then yes, I would pay more for something that worked really well.

Every since that coupon was posted for $3.50 off that Dove Skin Vitalizer with the cleanings pads, I use that nightly. Easy.

Then I had received a sample of the OLAY DEFINITY INTENSE HYDRATING CREAM, I now use that as it seems to really "puff" up those worry lines and not make them so deep. Feels and smells great too. Its $24 at Target, but can get it at the commissary for $14 and lasts about 6-8 weeks.

Does this work? I don't know, but I do know my skin feels so much better (softer) after I do this.

Fortunately, I've been blessed with good skin, and I don't use too much in the way of "skin care". I simply wash my face, with either Zest(original blue bar) , or Dove Nutrium, and then I use Suave, or any other (inexpensive) lotion before putting on my make-up.
Occassionally I will try something simply because I like the smell, or have heard about a product...but, I usually will end up breaking out, or my skin will dry out.
My Mom always used Noxema.....and I LOVED the smell of it, and now and then I try to use it , and my face swells up overnight! It works great for my kids though when dealing with acne. It helps clear them up.

I used Noxema when I was a teenager and then it just didn't work anymore. I have great skin as well, but I wear make-up and want to prevent my face from breaking out.;)

I've been blessed with good skin also. I don't even wear makeup.

My girls both use a variety of things. Laura uses only Clinque makeup otherwise she breaks out.

They have both tried proactive and did not think it was all that. I had heard such wonderful things. Sorry, I'm not much help!

I use L'Bri cleanser, freshener, and moisturizer. The whole product line is aloe vera-based. I started using it because a friend of mine had a party. She believes in it because it has very nearly cured some dreadful skin irritations on her hands due to stress and 40 hours/week at work in gloves. She does the facial on her hands, and uses their intense moisturizer. I've been using the stuff for about 2 weeks, and am noticing a difference. Everyone's skin is different, though, and what works for one may not work for another.

Is this something you can find in the stores? I like aloe based products

L'Bri is a party & word of mouth kind of thing. Here's (http://http://www.lbri.com/DesktopDefault.aspx) the web site. As an existing customer, I order through my consultant's page. I'm sure that if you contact them, they can hook you up. You can order samples, although you have to pay shipping & handling. At least checking out the products & their ingredients online is free!

My skin isn't so great, I have to wear makeup if I want to feel comfortable being out in public. Last year I had a 8 month long breakout of cystic acne... it was so horrible. I tried everything, including some expensive facials and treatments, homemade masks, tons of drugstore products.... nothing helped!

Finally I got insurance and went to see a doctor. He prescribed me Benzaclin, which started working THAT FIRST NIGHT! I woke up the next morning and my skin was halfway clear. The product becomes ineffective after 90 days, and after that my dermo prescribed me Duac. It's kinda the same as Benzaclin but more modern. I have been using that ever since.

I just hate how it bleaches my eyebrows and the hair around my face. Even though I use a minimal amount, it somehow spreads.

That is the only miracle product I've ever come across. I highly recommend it, but only if you suffer from stubborn acne. In my case, it hasn't been great to my skin. My face is pretty dull and eye wrinkles started appearing right after I started using. But I will take that over having nasty cystic acne!
