I would have to head to a casino.I stay home most days so if my girl was gone for a whole day I'd be lost so when this happens which is rarely I head to the casino its only a little over a hour away!!

You must have a little baby. I agree its hard to leave a baby but one day that baby turns 5 and mine got on the school bus monday ( summer school started) for the very first time.I didn't cry until the bus started to pull away and she was all smiles and waves! I bawled! Then straightened up around the house and decided to go to town.I'm sorry but WOW! I spent half as much money as usual. no one complained no one needed potty breaks and i didn't have to buy another happy meal!

Yesterday I just puttered around the house. In the afternoon I sat down to realize there really is daytime t.v. out there that doesn't involve a sponge and starfish!LOL!

Yes I miss her during the day! But I finally remember what its like to have all the kids in school! (the first 2 boys are now 19 & 21) :)

I would sleep in, watch a few tv shows, read for a little while as well as cross stitch, and then go and see a movie at the theatre. Or I might drive a couple of hrs to the country and have a long quiet walk with no noise from the city/suburbs and have a picnic. :)

Wow, where do I begin?! I'd sleep in, take a long hot bath (shave both legs at the same time), go for lunch with my best friend, spend quality time with my hubby, get my hair cut and eyebrows waxed....Sounds like I need a week, not just a day!!! :D

:o Well, today I am by myself. My mother in law and hubby are taking the kids to the county fair for most of the day. I couldn't sleep in because the pups needed attention and I just found the bottle of sunblock and the kids water bottles on the counter. (Hope they stop somewhere for more) I am going to clean my house from top to bottom! I plan on tossing out lots of broken toys and such from my kids rooms with out them here!

I'm cleaning today to!! I hate that job!! Today I'm goingto shampoo the living room carpet.We just done the 27 sweep on the toy box last week.It was more the 77 sweep because I tossed out a lot of junk toys.(I hate happy meal toys)

I would do exactly the same thing! My Husband had to go to Florida for his job, in November, & he took me w/him . After his meeting, he took me to Coco Beach. We only had an hr, so I picked up shells, walked along waters edge, and brought french fries to feed the seagulls. He took a video of me feeding the birds, with his cell phone (w/o me knowing) He sent it to me one day to remind me of our trip to the beach! Now, whenever I need that "break" from reality....I watch and listen to my beach day---until I can go again. I close my eyes, listen to the seagulls, and just dream of the ocean.:cool:

I lived in the beach for 15 years before moving to a more rural area. I miss the beach sometimes....but NEVER the seagulls who poop regularly on your car or on you without warning. :D

Now that I only have one kid left at home who is gone more than he is here....I really have lots of free days and time to myself. I usually study my Bible, garden, paint or get on the internet. I'm REALLY enjoying this time of my life...it's been wonderful. And my house stays clean!

I have two kiddos, two dogs, and a hubby, and my house is always a mess too. How I long for the days when I had a spotless house.

If I had a whole day, I'd want to spend it at the beach, or hang out on the computer all day.

I'd also like to have a day where calories don't count. I'd have a hamburger and fries and eat chocolate all day.
