I think that dress is GREAT!!! I would just tell your mom that you can do this with or with out her, it is your day and it will be how you two want it, she can help or not!! I had to tell my mom that a time or two when I got married and she will respect that (hopefully) and let you do things your way! Sometimes moms think they know what is best, but not always. Stand firm in what you want and she should come around!! You will look wonderful in that dress!! Good luck!

Yep we are starting the planning...at least Daniel and his Mom...for the honeymoon..we are going to head up north to Mackinaw Bridge... stay on Mackinaw Island for the weekend and Daniel is planning the whole thing and suprising me as to where we are staying and all... I haven't been to the Island since I was 7!!!!!! I am getting so excited!!!

Exactly how it happened for me.. the 16th is our anniversary of dating and he proposed that day and we decided to get married on that day a year later. We went through all the months and May happens to be the one month in which there isn't anybodys b-day or anything!!

DH and I were married on May 8th almost 26 years ago. Our first date anniversary was May 2. My nephew's b-day May 12, my b-day May 22, s-i-l's b-day May 23.
