Anyone remember The Mole reality show hosted by Anderson Cooper?

I just read on MSN Celebrity Buzz that ABC will it bring it back this summer for 10 episodes but a simpler version that Amercia can participate in and is looking for a new host.

I used to the love this show. Hope the new version is just as good.

Yup, it was a fun show, I really liked it and never missed one of these shows, made you think with the clues and who could be the Mole...I am glad and looking forward to this coming back, thanks for telling us!!

I liked The Mole as well. I wish Anderson Cooper was still the host though. It's just not the same without him. :(

Did anyone catch the blink and you'll miss them promos for The Mole. At the end of a commercial block a green fingerprint appears on screen with The Mole Was Here. I'm starting to get excited!

(FROM VARIETY) – The Mole is returning to ABC for the first time in four years. The network has placed a 10-episode order to Stone & Co. Entertainment (Tim Gunn's Guide to Style), and casting and pre-production are already underway, with shooting scheduled to start this spring for a run this summer. An ABC executive said the network planned on reviving the reality competition series even before the writers' strike. The first two editions of The Mole, which aired in 2001 and 2002, earned ABC's top ratings among adults 18-34 for both years. ABC also ran two seasons of Celebrity Mole in 2003 and 2004. The resurrected show will return to the original format, without celebrities, though there will be small tweaks. ''We simplified it to where the people at home can play along,'' said Stone & Co. principal Scott Stone. ''And the quiz will be much shorter than in the past.'' No host has been chosen yet. Anderson Cooper hosted the first two editions, and Ahmad Rashad hosted the celebrity versions.

Dubbed television's smartest reality show, ABC is bringing back "The Mole," featuring all-new missions, locations and music, plus online and mobile interactivity, enabling more viewer participation during the 10 episodes. Jon Kelley ("Extra," "The National Sports Report," "Baseball Today") is host.

"The Mole" follows a group of 12 players as they try to figure out who among them is The Mole, a saboteur trying to keep them from winning money. Players must decide who they think The Mole is and then learn as much about him or her as they can, because, at the end of each one-hour episode, the player who knows the least about The Mole is immediately eliminated from the game. In the final dramatic episode, The Mole is revealed and one of two final players wins a substantial cash prize.

"The Mole," based on the hit Belgian format, will be produced by Stone & Company Entertainment. The original series, produced by Stone Stanley Entertainment, was hosted by Anderson Cooper.

I think Craig is the Mole based on first impression. I don't know why, just something about him.

I like Mark because he was crying about wanting to win so his wife wouldn't have to work so hard. I feel for him and he'll probably turn out being the Mole.

The cheerleader (? Not sure of all names yet) seems fishy also. So althletic but couldn't reach up for the bag of money, I mean even the 60 year old lady was able to get it.
