well, then. Let me tell you about my WONDERFUL husband!! I must have the best husband alive! He is the greatest dad to our children, he works atleast 50 hours a week so I can stay home and take care of the girls. He never get mad at me, even when he could very easily!! I could be here all day telling you how great my husband is, but it would make you all sick! We are still on our honey moon after ten years!!!

It is one month today since DH had his open heart surgery, and today he vacuumed the whole house, now that was very appreciated! Bless his pointed head....yes Wanda I know....

For our 25 wedding anniversary last May my DH surprised me with 1/2 carat diamond earrings!! :eek: I honestly did not think I was going to get anything since we had just spent over $2200 to have a new transmission put in our Suburban. I felt HORRIBLE because I didn't even buy him a card! I did however write him a very mushy letter the night before and put it in his lunch, just to find out he had taken the day off of work!

I told him how sorry I was. He said not to be, that I had sacrificed so much of myself for our family, and there had been years that he didn't buy me anything when I had gave him gifts, that I deserved only the best.

Let me see - I have many examples of both - when he loves me, and when we argue!!

One that sticks out a lot still is . . .

I am VERY doctor phobic (dentists too!). We decided the timing was right to start raising a family, and bam!!!! got pregnant the first try! Wow - everything seemed to be going great, but at 18 weeks we lost the baby. What a horrible experience! He stuck by me the entire time, was supportive and loving.

Then, we tried a second time, and at week 20 almost lost that baby - I went in for emergency surgery and was put on bedrest. They did let me work from home, but I had to lay almost flat!

DH made all the meals, moved me from the bedroom to the recroom every day, did laundry, cleaned the house, etc. . . all by himself for a month, at which time I was put on severe bed rest at the hospital.

DH was still working full time, but cared enough to "live" at the hospital with me for 3 months, until our son was born one month early. He did laundry there (for both of us - they let me wear my own comfy clothes), he showered there, he left and went straight to work, he stopped on his way back after work to get me treats and his dinner, then he helped entertain me in the evenings. He spent every weekend with me at the hospital, decorated my room, bought me a Nintendo DS so we could play games together, etc. He came in for doctor appointments (the news just kept getting worse! He wanted to be supportive), held my hand when I needed shots (I can now get shots all by myself! I feel like such a big-girl now!), and was just great during the birth!

The list goes on. We had our son 1 month early, and he encouraged me to stay home. He has been promoted, and uses his yearly bonus to help pay bills instead of buying a new truck (all so I can be home with our son, who just turned 1).

Don't get me wrong - we certainly have our ups and downs, and it seems like more downs lately, but sometimes we really shock each other with the caring things we do!

If Albert and I can make it through this week then I think we will be okay forever lol.

Albert's grandma died yesterday morning. We knew she was going to pass away. She was 86 and had horrible heart problems. Hospice came into the home and said the family had 24-30 hours to say goodbye. There were about 50 of us that went to say goodbye.

We have 3 of Albert's relatives staying with us from Mexico. Albert has never met them before until this week. They are all Spanish speaking only and I know little Spanish. I try the best that I can and I want to make their stay comfortable. Albert is gone today and the 3 ladies are here with me. I just wish there was not such a huge language barrier and I really need to get my Spanish skills up to par.

The rosary is tomorrow night and the funeral is Friday. I am off the rest of the week and making tons of food for the family.

My mom had a heart attack this morning. I cannot focus on anything else but her and I think that is why my patience is running thin. She is currently in the hospital undergoing a ton of tests. It is just killing me to be here.

I am trying so hard not to be mean to Albert. I am kinda stuck right now. I know that I need to be here and support family, but I KNOW my mind is with my mom.

That is why I am saying I hope we can make it through the week. I kinda just wanna be alone right now.:o

His family will be fine (definitely won't hurt his grandma's feelings) without you. He loves you so he will understand that you love your mom. Is she far from where you are??

And Lynn I completely agree BUT Albert is having a very hard time with this. He has NEVER been to a funeral (he is very lucky) and he is a pallbearer for his grandmother. I have never seen him emotional and for the first time he cried last night.

I am waiting to hear from my step-dad for further information.

He would then go to his home and sleep a few hours just to get up and pick me up from work and take me home.

He still works same shift and now I am not working, yet he still insists on him being the one to get up in the morning to see the kids off for school- breakfast- all that and lets me sleep(he knows I have insomnia bad) even though he hasn't really slept after being home for work.

While recooperating from 2 hand surgeries this year he has done laundry, cooked a lot of meals when my hand was sore...helps kids with homework...plays video games with my son when Sean asks him to play, or help Jessica with her Math homework(cus I suck at math..LOL)

But most of all, Daniel has been in love with me and I him for 2 yrs and 8 months and there hasn't been a day yet to go by that he has not told me he loves me, that I was beautiful, that he is the "Lucky" one....etc. Every night he kisses me goodnight and tells me he loves me again!!

Albert's grandma died yesterday morning. We knew she was going to pass away. She was 86 and had horrible heart problems. Hospice came into the home and said the family had 24-30 hours to say goodbye. There were about 50 of us that went to say goodbye.

We have 3 of Albert's relatives staying with us from Mexico. Albert has never met them before until this week. They are all Spanish speaking only and I know little Spanish. I try the best that I can and I want to make their stay comfortable. Albert is gone today and the 3 ladies are here with me. I just wish there was not such a huge language barrier and I really need to get my Spanish skills up to par.

The rosary is tomorrow night and the funeral is Friday. I am off the rest of the week and making tons of food for the family.

My mom had a heart attack this morning. I cannot focus on anything else but her and I think that is why my patience is running thin. She is currently in the hospital undergoing a ton of tests. It is just killing me to be here.

I am trying so hard not to be mean to Albert. I am kinda stuck right now. I know that I need to be here and support family, but I KNOW my mind is with my mom.

That is why I am saying I hope we can make it through the week. I kinda just wanna be alone right now.:o

My Daniel is going to be the best husband...why you ask???...Well for starters he has taken my children into his home before we had gotten this home together and he took care of them when he didn't have to. He works the 11pm-5-7am shift and would come over to get me and the kids(while still dating and living seperate) and drop kids off to school and me to work. He would then go to his home and sleep a few hours just to get up and pick me up from work and take me home.

He still works same shift and now I am not working, yet he still insists on him being the one to get up in the morning to see the kids off for school- breakfast- all that and lets me sleep(he knows I have insomnia bad) even though he hasn't really slept after being home for work.

While recooperating from 2 hand surgeries this year he has done laundry, cooked a lot of meals when my hand was sore...helps kids with homework...plays video games with my son when Sean asks him to play, or help Jessica with her Math homework(cus I suck at math..LOL)

But most of all, Daniel has been in love with me and I him for 2 yrs and 8 months and there hasn't been a day yet to go by that he has not told me he loves me, that I was beautiful, that he is the "Lucky" one....etc. Every night he kisses me goodnight and tells me he loves me again!!

Thank you Becky! I just found out that the DR is going to send my mom home tomorrow. The DR told my mom that STRESS caused her heart attack. My step-dad and I both agreed that me staying put right now would be best. My mom and I tend to argue when we are together too long.:o

OH-MY, you guys sound like me and my mom!! she had a stress related heart attack last year! She is fine now. I am believing your mom will be fine also! I am glad to hear she is going home! You need to tell her to let go of what ever it is that stresses her out so much! How nice... when I suggested how nice it would be to have fresh cut flowers my DH told me that's why he planted 5 rose bushes in our backyard. I could have fresh cut flowers, all I had to do was cut them! :eek:

My Dh puts the toilet seat down 99.9% of the time. He also puts his dirty clothes down the laundry shoot, rinses out the sink after trimming his mustache, makes really good chili &! says thank you when I bring him something like coffee or a beer.

Today my Dh is shampooing the carpet for me!! I went to get the rug doctor today and just figuered I would be doing all the work, but he just started filling it up and using it with out saying a word!! He also got an old cabinet at a yard sale a while ago, and he sanded it down and stained it and brought it in the house for me to put all my "extras" in! I was running out of space. He is the best!

I am getting a new ring!! I have had to get my engagement ring fixed three times, because it is a small ring and I am rather rough on it! So it is going to cost me $115.00 to fix it this time and my hubby said why don't we just get you a new ring that is bigger!! I am like SWEEET!!!! I have been trying to get him to do that for years! when we got engaged we were broke and I think we only spent $150 on the ring, I am so excited!! Long story. The condensed version: Darling Hubby was stuck cleaning it up because dear daughter & I both had to go to work early. He cleaned it up (using the "dog wash" towels, not the good towels), threw those towels in the washer/dryer/folded/put them away. Then he brought a large loaded mocha and a dozen cookies to me at work!

HE CAME FROM WORK AND I GOT THE PERFUME RIGHT ON THE ENTERTAINMENT CENTER AND AFTER HE SHOWERED, I TOLD HIM TO WEAR IT.....WE STATER KISSING IN THE KITCHEN HAHAHA !! THAT WAS THE SAME COLOGNE HE WAS WEARING THE VERY 1ST DAY I MET HIM !! AND THE ONE HE USED WHILE WE DATE (15 DAYS) LOL ANYWAYS.....AFTER WE PUT EDUARDO IN BED.....WE WENT TO BED TOO !! HAHAHA !! IT WAS LIKE THE VERY 1ST TIME !! WOOHOO !! I WISH I GOT PREGNANT THAT NIGHT !! IT WAS AWESOME !! WILL HAVE TO WAIT LIKE A MONTH TO KNOW ! :o HAHAHA !
