I don't actually "visit" boingboing, but I get the newsletter which has the same content. I went there this morning though because of the contest they are having about your suckiest gadget experience. There are a couple of funny stories up there. I don't know if it's all that funny, but I put mine up, too. I'm the nineth one down.

I've gotten a few of the bizarre news stories from here. My favorite things that they report on are the "how-to" steampunk items (Steampunk ROCKS!) and the really amazing photoshop contests. They cover a lot of different issues, too like DMR and copyright stuff.


I recommend the newsletter. Once a day email, all day head full of cool. :cool: Beats the heck out of have to check out different pages, 'cause it's nice and condensed and links for what you're interested in.

Heck no! lol It cracked everybody up. I was able to get all the water out of their couch and everything. They were pretty impressed with the whole thing.

OMGosh! This was in the '80s and they were around $800 (Rainbow vaccuums). I didn't know anyone who had the financial means for that! I still got $4 for each demo I did tho. lol
