American Gladiators

I used to watch this when it first came out many years ago and really enjoyed it. I watched this last night and think that it is pretty comparable. I felt bad for the lady that got injured in her first event and had to drop out. That would be so embarassing. As for Gladiators, so far I like 'Wolf', he kind of makes me chuckle when he howls. The guy Toa was kinda freaky when he started chanting to the fireman contestant when they were on the pyramid. I think he was trying to intimidate/freak him out. Anyone else catch this show?? A new episode is going to be on tonight as well.

Well, my husband just 'had' to watch this show last night. We both watched it as children also, and I was kind of interested too. We only saw the first hour, and liked it. The only thing we didn't like was the interviews before AND after every competition. I think I remember the old shows being like that too - JUST GET ON WITH THE EVENTS ALREADY! ;) I'm with you with that Toa guy - freaked me out! I couldn't understand most of their names during the first introduction. Crush seems to be my fav girl. And I'm with you on Wolf - funny! My husband got a kick out of Hellga!

I think that Titan is a decent Gladiator. He seems to respect others even when they beat him. He really impressed me tonight (plus he is pretty darn good looking-lol). It's ashame that someone else got injured in Power Ball. That's the same event the lady got injured in on the first night. I didn't realize that one would be so dangerous.
