I have found the best kept secret for fixing this problem! I have chronic sinusitis and should own stock in Kleenex! Needless to say, this happens to me continually. I've found that if I intermitently rub Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream on, then I don't get that angry, burning redness or the resulting chapped, cracked skin afterward! It has a lemon scent and might sting a bit depending on how raw your skin is, but it's definitely worth it. They're anywhere Burt's Bees is sold and it's a tiny little pot that retails usually for about $5.99. Oh yeah, and it's AWESOME on the cuticles too! Good Luck! :D

Thanks for the recommendation! I did have some but used it all! It's great stuff for dry skin ANYWHERE! LOL! Anything with perfumes really stings & makes the redness worse & I have to work with the public so I'm trying to cover up my red nose! :D
