Anyone?
There is nothing else on with this writer's strike so I gave it a shot. Not too bad.

I watched it, too. Omarosa is at her usually ****roachy tactics. She's such a lying mu'dak. The other gals were interesting. I liked the way the guys worked together....a lot of interesting personalities there. I'll probably watch it again.

I agree that Omarosa was her usual self. She should've been fired for not using the celebrity angle, but if she were gone what fun villain would we have to watch?
I recognize more of the men than the women and I like them. They seem more organized and more willing to work together. However, it has been only one task. That might change.
Gene Simmons is a marketing genius, just look at what he did with Kiss. He should do well on this show.

Yes, Gene Simmons is a marketing genius, but Donald Trump is also. I detect an undercurrent of friction between them. I watched Trace Atkins move about and intermingle with the others. He's smooth, calculating, and always thinking. That's a Southern man for ya.

I have watched all the other Apprentice shows (I started in the middle of the first season). Last year I vowed that I would not watch another one of them if he made any more, because it was starting to get stupid- making the losers sleep in tents- geesh. Well, having the celebrities made it sound interesting so I watched it and will probably continue. I agree that Omarosa deserved to be fired, but that other gal just didn't put up a fight so I knew that would be the end for her.

I thought Omarosa should have been fired. She was the one who made a big deal about not wanting her team to trade on their celebrity to sell hot dogs. Unfortunately no one called her on it in the board room.
I love Gene Simmons. I think it would be cool if he does some elaborate stage pyrotechnics and sets the whole board room (and Donald's coif) on fire.

This week I wasn't too surprised that he fired Nadia. She looked very uncomfortable and it seemed like she didn't really want to be there. He was super nice to her when he fired her though. I don't think he has ever been that nice when firing before.

Boy, that was one strange show. I really wanted Pierce to be fired. I think he might have been if Vinnie hadn't resigned. By the time you finished watching it, you almost didn't know what to believe anymore. I actually felt sorry for Vinnie, although he certainly wasn't totally innocent in the matter. One thing that really surprised me is that Ivanka seemed to like the idea of spying on the other team. That sure didn't make me think much of her. Of course, Donald is her dad....

I don't think it was right for Piers and Stephen to go to the girls and let them know that Vinnie was a spy. Those "share the love" comments were uncalled for IMO and this was after Stephen wouldn't even pick up Vinnie's note because he is a good Christian. Nothing wrong with that, but if your faith will not allow you to pick up an ill-gotten note then it shouldn't allow you to rub your ill-gotten information in the other teams face.
Also, I think Vinnie took the whole thing further than he had to or the team thought he would. I understood that he was supposed to just hang out in the hall and see what he could overhear not join the other team. Although, he did come with their winning idea of using Carol, using their own celebrity, which for some reason the women were just refusing to do.
Either way, the mens loss was Piers' fault. His campaign idea, his spy idea so he should've been fired. Donald should have accepted Vinnie's resignation, Vinnie gave him no choice and then he should have fired Piers.

Last night's show was a little disappointing. I think Trump has wanted to get rid of Nely for awhile now. He pretty much encouraged Omarosa to bring her back. I was glad that Nely spoke up for herself and said that Trump always kept dwelling on the fact that Gene saved her by not bringing her back into the boardroom and I liked that Donald Jr and George just kind of sat there looking at him when she said it. Trump just doen't want to fire Omarosa because she makes the show 'interesting' to him. Whatever  .

I agree.
He's going to have to get rid of Omarosa soon, like next if the girls lose. I don't think he can justify keeping her around anymore without losing face and fans.
Looks like a set up for a Baldwin/Piers finale.

Trump should have fire Omarosa as soon as he found out she was trash talking Piers's kids. She was way over the line. He should not have waited to see what team won. He should have called her out as soon as Piers said it.

I agree. As much as I don't like Piers, I do admit that Omarosa was out of line for what she did. I think she was hoping to get rid of him, but she should really be embarrassed for how she behaved. Very immature behavior!!!

So, who's going to get fired in the surprise boardroom? I'm thinking Carol and Lennox. Piers makes good tv and I think if he was going to fire Trace he would've done it after the task. Just my prediction.

I have a feeling you are right. I do think Lennox should go, but I like Carol and think she has done a good job. This situation actually irritates me a bit though. I don't think he should fire 2 more without having another challenge. This makes no sense at all to me.

Well, you sure were right! I do feel bad for Carol though, she was SO CLOSE to staying. Piers just knew the right thing to say to Donald- he compared himself to him- I must admit that was right on.

I guess I was. After the interviews I really thought Carol would be staying, although I couldn't get over the fact that Piers makes good tv and does bring in the money. I was really worried for Trace.
I was surprised that Carol was the last to be chosen for a team. Trace was smart in taking Lennox from Piers but Carol was the best woman and probably more even-headed than Marilu and more serious than Stephen. Even all the interviewers liked her as did Trump obviously. So why leave her standing?

Yes, Piers would have been better off picking Carol, I think that Stephen really wants Trace to win. I don't think he is giving his all to helping Piers. Plus Carol admitted that she liked Piers and how he works (surprisingly).

Really wanted to see Trace win. At least he made some money for his charity.
If they were going to base the winner on the $$ brought in and the connections you have (which I guess is what business is all about) then they should've had Piers on the show alone. Or left Gene on, I think he's the only that could've given Piers a run for his money in those catagories.

I was disappointed with Pers winning this, Trace is such a gentleman and his compassion really shows, I guess Pers is too much like Donald.

I love this show. I usually miss it because I have class that night so I go to NBC and watch all the episodes on there. I loved Trace Adkins this year because I think he made a character statement that people need to see. He won respect....which is always more important in life than winning the game.
I think if Pears would not have had such a great charity....that he may not have won. It would be hard to pick anything over those wounded Vets being onstage. I was glad it went the way it did and the audience showed so much respect to them.

I agree with you completely. I was hoping Trace would win, but as the show progressed I had a feeling it wasn't going to happen. At least he gained alot of people's respect and informed everyone about the severity of food allergies and that organization's importance.
