Just to let you all know that I called my local Sephora and asked about this (my closest one is 1/2 hour away didn't want to make the trip if they didn't have them) and they told me that it is a coupon and that you need the coupon to get it in stores, but you can still get it free with purchase online.
Anyone know anything about this? Where do we find the coupon?

Are there any more exclusive Sephora stores any more??The Sephora's inside JCPenny's don't use the Beauty Insider program since they are connected to JCPenny's system atm. I think you have to go to a freestanding Sephora to get the great skin samples, but maybe call to check anyway.

(When I tried to get the free jumbo lip pencil in a JCPenny's Sephora, that's what they told me. :( I also found out you can't use a Sephora GC there, you need a JCPenny/Sephora GC if you want to purchase, same for vice versa! :eek:)

I printed off the lip promo voucher and took it in to the closest Ulta (30 minutes away). I asked an employee if they had it and she said she'd never seen the promotion before, and gave me a 3 makeup samples instead. I was kind of irritated that I had to drive all the way over for pretty much nothing. As I was buying a couple of things, I asked the woman at the register if she would throw away my coupon for the Lip Promo since they didn't have it. When I got home, I opened my shopping bag and there it was!-- They must have had them only behind the register, because the employees on the floor had no idea what it was.

I got the email from Sephora about this today (if ya'll haven't signed up for the Beauty Insider list, I'd recommend it…) Here is what the email says:

Subject line: 15 free skincare samples!!

Body:

PERK ALERT!! FREE skincare sample bag for beauty insiders! It’s packed with 15 samples and all yours with any online order. Enter GREATSKIN at checkout.
Also available in stores (then a link to find stores now).


I personally am going to print off that email and take it into a Sephora next time I travel in that direction. When I clicked the link to “find stores now,” it took me to the location finder, but did not show a coupon for printing to physically take into the store. On the OTHER hand, if you look at Sephora’s events page, this is what it says:

Mm, I thought they always had the free makeup consultations. But on a side note, I thought I would mention that you can even get fragrance samples (not the ones that you spritz on paper).

I was looking at the Burberry London parfum which I was contemplating on purchasing, and the employee in the fragrance section made me a sample in front of me in a small vial that I can spray. =)

I actually went into the store last night with the email printed out and my Beauty Insider card. They had the bags sitting right next to the register and just handed it to me. My bag only had like 4 or 5 samples in it though. Definately not 15. However, they did not even scan my card so I may go back tonight to try and score another freebie with more free samples.

We went in to the Tulsa OK Ulta and received 4 of the lip kits from them - I LOVE 'em!
