Hey all
I was wondering if anyone has either tried or currently uses airborne? I have a double ear infection and a sinus infection currently and I am really getting tired of getting sick! I am a toddler teacher to 8 wonderful children but I feel like I have a HUGE germ bullseye on me! I talked with my doctor today and she has not really heard alot of feedback on it, but I know my friends here can give me the help I need! I do take an everyday vitamin, compuslively wash my hands, got my flu shot, and use purell like it is going out of style! I was just wondering if anyone had some other ways to protect myself from the toddler germs! Thanks again all! :)

We bought the airborne and it does work. My husband works at an elementary school, so he's around all the germs too. He also does get the flu shot. Hope this helps.

I have heard that it does work. I however have not tried it myself. I know after I say this I will get sick. But I haven't really had a real cold in a few years now.

You seem to be doing everything that you should be doing. My only suggestion is not to use Purell like its going out of style. It is believed to kill off some of the bacteria that fights off the bad germs. I didn't beleive this till a few years ago, when I got really sick.

The doctor that I work for also says the same thing, if you have to clean your hands use soap and warm water. Also when turning off the facet use a paper towel. This way any germs that are on the facet dont' return to your clean hands.

I hope this helps you.

My cousin who works at a school in CT swears by Airborne and Zicam (sp?) I personally have not tried either, but I do use anti-bacterial soap and Purell since we have a toddler in the house.

Ever wonder if maybe too many precautions are being taken? Isn't it supposed to be that the more you're around things, the more your body builds tolerance or immunity? My grungiest kid (not anymore, but he was a dirt magnet when he was a 'lil tyke) never gets sick. My mom used to say, "You'll eat a ton of dirt in your life before you die." Meaning that you will injest/breathe in all kinds of crap and live. :) 'Course things have changed since then. All the bacteria and viral things are much stronger now.

Michelle, good to hear you are feeling better. Try gargling with salt water for your throat. That's what my DR told me to do when I get strep.

I love airborne. I used it everytime I feel myself starting to get sick. Good stuff.
